Hi community, thanks for continuing to share your feedback on this idea.
We appreciate wanting to hear more on where this is at and we'd like to update that we're just beginning to explore the future of Statements within Xero.
We understand the need for more control over what’s included in statements, particularly when invoice links or related actions don’t reflect the way your business work, or cause confusion for the customers receiving them.
This is something our team will be taking into careful consideration as that work develops.
We’ll keep you updated here as discovery progresses.

We experience the same problem but with invoice reminders. I have de-selected 'Include a link to the invoice PDF' as we invoice out of Workflow Max not Xero. However, all invoice reminders sent from Xero still include a 'Download PDF' link in the reminder email. The link itself doesn't work (and we don't want it to because we invoice out of WFM) but because the wording and the link is there in the reminder email our clients try to click on it, receive an error message and then email us complaining the link doesn't work. We are then continually apologising and explaining yes the link doesn't work, etc. I've raised this with support months ago but they have advised it is a low priority for the product team and can't give any timeframe for resolution. Dissappointing.
To calculate long service leave entitlements for casual and part time employees or employees that have had a mix of employment types, it is necessary to know how many ordinary time hours an employee has worked. This information can be extracted from the Payroll Activity Summary report although it requires the report to be exported to Excel and the data manipulated, which is extremely time consuming doing each employee one at a time. A simple report that shows the number of ordinary hours worked in a set period of time, filtered by employee would make it much easier for small business to comply with long service leave legislation.
