I am new to Xero after previously using SAP and I'm really surprised entry date isn't a reportable field, I think this is essential for reconciliations to ensure any late postings can be identified, e.g. back dated journals or invoices that have resulted in a change to an account balance. Journal number would help with this but ideally I would suggest a field for 'entry date' is needed in the account transactions report
