Manual Journals - Journal entry number listed
On the list of manual journals, the journal entry number should be listed, you need to click on each one to find the specific journal entry number. Why is this not displayed?

This is absolutely critical. The ability to sort journals in an order in which they are posted is always required for audit purposes to prove they are complete and in sequence. Being able to view this live in the manual journals window and sort would also help to monitor the latest journals that have been posted incase any late journals have changed reported figures.
