An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cutler commentedOMG YES!!!!
So frustrating when you run a report & click/open a transaction to look at or make a change to & then when its done it doesn't take you back to the report you ran ..... no .... it takes you back to the bank account or somewhere else totally irrelevant ?? So then you have to waste your time with multiple clicks etc to get back to where you were & run the report again etc.Software is supposed to save you time not add extra steps to the workload.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cutler commentedVery frustrating to not be able to have more than one organisation open at once. Especially when entering, journaling or reconciling intercompany transactions.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cutler commentedThis would only be an option if Xero change all the other security access for Adviser or add another level of security access to things like locking month end dates etc that an Adviser level does.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cutler commentedThe actual TOTAL $$ of debits & credits to match off to the statement would be more beneficial. Not sure how many transactions or how many bank accounts & companies you have to report on but I'm not counting every transaction! Every bank statement has total $$ of debits & credits it would be great to have a quick check to the reconciliation reports.

Hi everyone, we're pleased to share an update for attaching files to Fixed Assets as we near the cusp of the year! We have just started rolling out this capability to users. 😊
While this'll slowly be released to all organisations using new Fixed Assets over the next few weeks, see a peek of what this looks like below - Once available, you'll find the 'Attach files' button at the top right when editing an individual asset. You can either select to Upload files from your device or files library, or simply drag & drop files to the upload modal.
I'll be back to confirm when it's out to all organisations with our new Fixed Assets experience.
An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cutler commentedCurrently an attachment only piggy backs a Fixed Asset Transaction to the Asset Register in "Draft" if it is done with the original transaction. If there has been a coding error & the transaction is re-coded to a Fixed Asset account this transaction does not even appear in the Asset Register in "Draft" so this has to be entered manually & there is no option to attach a file.
We do various projects that are Work In Progress & then capitalised at the completion of the project. Journalling the Total value to Fixed Assets & the same happens with this transaction also.Rebecca Cutler supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cutler commentedI just need a report so that we can check that all transactions have a backup document attached to them.

Thanks for your interest in being able to send a PDF of an invoice via the Xero Network.
While this isn't something we're looking to develop atm. For those in AU and NZ you could look into sending e invoices via the Peppol network.
Through e invoices you can attach and include files as well as a PDF of the invoice - See more on Xero Central
An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cutler commentedThere is no point having Xero to Xero if the documentation doesn't come with it.
We actually have relating entities & we require pdf for every transaction.Rebecca Cutler supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cutler commentedYes agree that this is a required function in the day to day running of an actual business. Not all payments stem from a Tax Invoice.
Totally agree with this idea. Not sure why this doesn't happen already. It should be an automatic flow on.
