THIS!!! The amount of time spent and lack of efficient workflow from not being able to have multiple orgs open at once in different tabs.

The work around with different chrome accounts is a way around but not the most effective or efficient either.

Being able to open two companies at once without being kicked out.

If a company has subsidiary's and is part of a group and they both use xero. It would be a great addition to the software to be able to view the data without having to switch the companies. Have you guys considered adding a function like this?

A workaround that a friend recently put me onto is using multiple profiles in Chrome - I can have one separate instance of Xero open in each profile, each logged into separately

I totally agree on this.

You could open 4 easily if you have 2 browsers with incognito - but it is annoying having to login, and 2FA in incognito all the time!

In addition to that, it would fix this problem I have with a link export:

I put bills into a "todo" via Zapier when they are added to Xero.
There is a link to the bill in Xero.
The links should include organisation reference - so when I click the link and login, it takes me to the correct organisation.
In Google they handle multiple account logins with a /u/1 or /u/2 in the URL. Why you don't allow this too? I often need to be in 2 files at once - so would be helpful in general, let alone clicking to look at a specific bill from an external URL when not logged in.
The error you get is "bill doesn't exist" which is not true, it is just that you are not in the right organisation.

Ridiculous that more than 1 entity can't be open at a time.

I would've thought this function is critical for accounting practices dealing with groups.

Ability to have multiple entities open currently in the organization settings - select entity you automatically get kicked out of one company when you open another on. Would like to be able to have more than one open (perhaps show the other is a different color) so you can compare items between entities.

The workaround I use for this is to open each entity in a different browser. Unfortunately, there aren't enough browsers installed by IT on my computer to open all the inter-related entities at the same time, but I can at least get one open in Chrome and one open in Firefox!

The ability to have 2 or more different client companies open at the same time in separate internet tabs. For companies who have one or more subsidiaries, it would be super useful to be able to open all the subsidiaries at once so that you can work on them at the same time instead of having to stop what you are doing on the one to work on the other one. This would be really helpful on saving time by not having to go back and forth between companies.

This is critical for organizations that operate and manage more than one legal entity or separate data files. The current process is cumbersome and time-consuming.

Being able to access multiple Xero Blue client files at the same time. In other words being able to have them open in different Windows or Tabs at the same time. At the moment it only allows you to have one Xero Blue file open at a time.
As accountants, some of our clients have multiple Xero data files and we need them open at the same time to track inter-entity transactions and this cannot be done, unless you use a different internet browser.

Essential to me, I work for an accountancy practise where we have some clients who have their own Xero and others where they use us for Xero, also have private jobs where am invited to their Xero, flexibility is vital.

Critial for people like me who need to be able to access multiple companies simultaneously.

Absolutely vital, I have to work with 8 inter companies during my working day which involves a great deal of reconciliation and this is so frustrating and time consuming.

It's a necessity to be able to access the different entities of a Group simultaneously both for intercompany book-keeping purposes and also for ledger interrogation purposes. e.g investigating what happened across the group historically with particular transactions.

This one is slowing me down as I am working on multiple entities at the same time for intercompany transactions.
