Hi everyone, thanks for your votes and comments on this idea. We’ve looked into this request, and at this stage, we won’t be moving forward with it.
Report templates are a beneficial feature designed for our Xero Partners managing multiple clients.
We do understand how important it is to have a consistent and repeatable reporting process. A good alternative is to use the Management Report within the client’s organisation. It allows you to build a customised report pack that can be saved and reused. You’ll find it under the Reports section, and there’s a Xero Central article that steps through how to set one up.

Being able to open two companies at once without being kicked out.
If a company has subsidiary's and is part of a group and they both use xero. It would be a great addition to the software to be able to view the data without having to switch the companies. Have you guys considered adding a function like this?
