Hi team, apologies we jumped the gun a touch on the idea here.
Like previously mentioned, right now you can attach documents and links, set flexible workpaper periods, and use basic calculation sheets in the new experience.
Currently our team are exploring how we might further enhance Workpapers with variations for tailored templates, and support direct importing of reports to improve the way data moves across your compliance steps. We'll share as we have more updates for you around this.

Thanks for the engagement with this idea, everyone. This isn't possible atm however just to provide some options of being able to add a gratuity or tip to an existing invoice.
You could have a inventory item set up for this. When a customer provides you a tip you would then edit the invoice and add this item, entering quantity as 1 and tip amount as the unit price. This way you could have the account and tax rate auto entered.
Appreciate this may not suit all circumstance, but hopefully helps some here.
We don't have any current plans for this but will update you if there's any news.

I have a lawn service and my clients want to tip me but are not able to when paying through Stripe/Xero. Is there a way they can add amounts over the invoice?
Although I can appreciate the comments, this software is sooooo much better than QBO. My accountant loves it, my customers are starting to just venmo me or zelle and we add as a tip when receiving the payment. It is Stripe that is the issue, if they overpay through venmo or zelle, we just add to a Tip product and those are NOT taxable to a LLC aside form income tax, they are not subject to sales tax in TX just FYI
