This is a significant pain point. Updating inventory selling prices and then having to manually edit every repeating invoice template is inefficient and increases the risk of mistakes. An option to refresh prices from inventory on generation would save a considerable amount of time.
We have built a tool that integrates with Xero and can help keep repeating invoice prices in sync with the latest inventory unit prices. If this would be useful as an interim solution, or if you would like to join our beta and share feedback, please message me or check multicurv.com. -

I fully support this idea. Converting amounts manually every time a quote or invoice is created in a foreign currency is time-consuming and prone to errors, especially when there are many line items.
We have developed a Xero-connected tool that currently helps automate currency price updates based on current exchange rates. If anyone is interested in exploring this as a temporary workaround while waiting for a native solution, or would like to provide feedback during our beta phase, please feel free to message me or visit multicurv.com.
Hope this feature can be prioritised on the roadmap. -

I’ve been running into this exact limitation for a long time. Even with multi-currency enabled, inventory items only support one sales price in the base currency.
When creating foreign-currency quotes or invoices, the Unit Amount still has to be manually overwritten for every line .. which is slow and error-prone.
I’ve been testing a small independent tool that addresses this (multi-currency price lists + creating DRAFT invoices/quotes in Xero with the correct Unit Amount). It’s free during the private beta.
If anyone wants to try it, you can find it at multicurv.com or reach me via the contact form there.

I support this request. Being able to present multiple sections with their own subtotals within a single quote would improve clarity for clients and reduce the need to send multiple separate quotes.
While waiting for native multi-section support, we have developed a Xero add-on that assists with more flexible quote structuring and multi-currency handling. If anyone would like to explore this during our beta phase or provide input, feel free to reach out or visit multicurv.com.
Hope the product team considers this enhancement.
