Hi everyone, we wanted to share another update here. The ability to schedule and send a one-off invoice at a date and time that works best is now available to all organisations.
You can find this feature in the send window by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the Send email button.
As mentioned in my last update, we understand there’s strong interest in extending this functionality to repeating invoices as well. While this isn’t currently in the pipeline, it’s something our product team will closely consider as they shape the future of repeating invoices in Xero.
I’ll be sure to share any further updates with you here.

Hi team, we totally get how bulk updating amounts on repeating invoices would help speed up the process and accuracy in amounts going out for regular customer sales.
Our product team is beginning to explore repeating invoices and the future of how we support these type of regular transactions. As part of this they're carefully considering popular ideas that have been raised by our community. We’ll come back to share further updates, once they’ve got a good handle on where this works stems.

Allow xero to create recurring invoices for Groups. So if I have a Group of subscribers, I can create their invoices at the beginning of the year and then leave the DDs to collect for the remainder of the year.
It should tell them the full amount that they are signed up to for the year.
It should allow me to switch the invoices off so that they get the DD reminder but don't get the invoice every time (too much communication)
It should be possible to delete and credit individual invoices if things change e.g. they move into a different group during the year or if they cancel. I would create an individual recurring invoice for that subscriber if they change their subscription, which would be outside the group.
This is available in other accountancy products.
