    Client is wondering whether there is a way to split bills in the cash flow prediction to show half the bill being paid on this day and the remainder on another day. Currently you can tell it that we estimate to pay the bill in full on this day but can't see an option to split the bill.

  2. In Repeating Transactions, you have a column width for Reference which is fairly decent, but then the data in that is truncated to the extreme. It takes up less than half the column width??????
    Has it not occurred to your programmers to use the full width of the column and only suffix with ... if it still proves too small to display all the data

  3. Invoice - Ability to move "Pay Now" button to custom part of email body.

    Currently as first part of email, "PAY NOW £***" is displayed in the message preview in quite a confronting manner. Ability to move it to any part of the email body would make our organisation seem friendlier.

  4. I would like to be able to forward receipts I have received via email which are NOT attachments, but are inline / html receipts, and have Xero read them, like Expensify can.

    I waste so much time receiving emailed receipts (BPME for example) which I then have to save as a PDF and forward / upload.

  6. Hi - could the Timer appear on other Xero pages, not just the Projects page? So when the timer is started, it stays on the screen when we move between Dashboard, Business, Accounting etc. That would be great. Thanks.

  7. Currently we create a budget for each tracking category (department).

    I have created a custom report which includes the budget for each category. I then use the formula function to sum the budgets together.

    I only want to see the formula column in the report outputted. (I realise that columns can be hidden when data is exported to Excel)

    I understand that there is not a way to show a formula column without all the individual budget columns.

    Enhancement suggestion: include a radio button for each column to hide/reveal that column in the report

  8. Create ABA file for non bank account, eg Credit Cards.
    With an increate of payment options and portals offering payments through credit card, it could be reasonable to have an aba file created for other form of payment. Thanks

  10. There is a weird issue when entering in text in the 'Descripton' box in a Quote.

    Once the text is entered if you then leave the description box and then click back into it, all the text in that field is highlighted.

    This is a little problem when you want to delete one character as it deletes the whole text.

    If you Control V the text back....it hasn't copied the text to put it back in.
    So, you lose all the text entered.

    I understand you can click a few times to stop it highlighting the whole text.

  11. When entering invoices and the account is always "sales" (for example), I would like the option to set up invoices to automatically use the "sales" account? It is currently only an option by setting up item codes and/or setting up through contacts. I would like to see it automatically assign the account at the time of entering the invoice, instead of having to type in an item code. It will save so much more time and avoid errors by users selecting an incorrect account from the chart of accounts.

    On the repeating invoices tab, can we please have the total amount showing of repeating monthly invoices.. Just as it shows the awaiting invoices value on that tab.

    This will help business keep an eye on their recurring value income.

  13. I would really like to be able to allocate my expenses to a project within the app.
    If I add a receipt via the app, (which for me is the most efficient way to add expenses) I then have to go online, find the transaction, edit it and resave it, in order to sign it to a project. This is frustratingly inefficient and doubles the time it takes to input a purchase!
    Could you please add this ability to the app?

  15. There has been an ongoing BUG in Xero, on the bank reconcile screen, when you select more details about the transaction, it covers the invoices. If you have invoice references in the details, you have to close that then select the invoices in the reference. Xero should not cover the invoices, but display the details along the side, see CASE BUG CX0013467462 for full details and screenshot.

    Appreciate your screenshot and can see what you're meaning here, Craig. 

    While this is not a bug we appreciate this is not ideal and understand why you'd like to be able to view these to items at once. Currently these are two separate features in the Reconcile screen which is why they work in isolation and the More details view can be open and closed while working with Find & Match. 

    We don't have immediate plans for changing this behaviour, however I've shared with our team and we will let you know if there's any change planned.

    Hi community, there was a brief window in which users were able to unintentionally code line items to CIS codes. However, there is more complexity in calculations for CIS and work that's needed to reflect this appropriately.


    Thanks for starting an idea in this, we'll begin to track the appetite as a possibility for future work.

    Can one create a report based on DRAFT information eg Draft invoice not approved
    Can one create a report based on DRAFT information eg Draft invoice or draft bill (not approved and therefore not posted into the books of account).

    For example I would like to see what impact certain entries would have on a balance sheet or income statement but dont want to approve them only to see the impact and then subsequently void or reverse them if I am, say unhappy with the outcome ? I…

  18. Quotes need the ability to either show the VAT content or not. Depending on the type of business you are dealing with at the time i.e domestic or Commercial. Generally domestic clients want to know the total cost including tax (VAT) whereas on a Commerical clients are not bothered as it is generally assumed or stated plus VAT.
