  3. See card number when reconciling

    There is no longer a card number on the bank statement line when reconciling.

    This was really useful as we have multiple business cards connected to the same account and we need to know which employee made the transaction (which we identified through the credit card number)

  5. Add an option to find all transactions by Item Code

    Example: I recently had a client who put the wrong sales accounts on some of their inventory items but had been making sales transactions for 14 months without noticing. The P&L did not accurately reflect the sales of the actual inventory categories because of this.

    There is currently no ability to find all the transactions by inventory item code to quickly recode the original transactions.

    Is there a specific inventory report you'd find this most useful in? 

    Being open we don't have immediate plans for adding this filter into the reports, but it'd be good to get this detail that could be shared back with the team when considered. 

  8. I need the option to auto reverse repeating journals to be available. This is neccessary for accruals.
    Auto reverse is available on regular journals but not repeating.

  9. The new W-9 Request feature is nice. However, it would be even better if there was a way to send the request using the Organization's email address rather than the Bookkeeper's or Accountant's email address. Contractor's might disregard the email request if they don't know who the Bookkeeper or Accountant is and don't recognize the sender's email address.

    Hi Lara, while not a complete solution for what you're after as you still need to send from an external email provider - I wanted to share a recent update we've made so you can now link directly to your email client from the W-9 in both Contacts and 1099. We've also provided an email template which you can easily edit to adjust any details you'd prefer such as adding the organisation title. See more on this in our help.

  10. Ability to easily see which bills have not been scheduled for payment.

    There are tabs for each date that payments have been scheduled. An "unscheduled" tab would be useful, showing bills awaiting payment without a planned payment date.

    Will save users time having to sort the bills by planned date to see which ones need scheduling.

    Hi Tina, just thinking in lieu of this feature atm - To help get a view of bills that don't have an assigned planned date you can click the Planned date header to sort all bills by planned date and this will also group all bills with no planned date. 🙂

  11. Custom reports- why there such a large gap of blank wasted space between the account names and the first column!! We create month x month reports ie 12 months of columns wide, so it is very frustrating when you create a PDF with all those columns on it and there is that great wasted space before the first column!!!

  12. It would be really helpful if there was a way of adding a description/note to conversion balances. For example, if a creditor balance relates to a specific loan, it would be useful to be able to note this somewhere. Currently, reports only show 'conversion balance' as the description for the transaction and it isn't possible to add a description to the conversion journal. It makes it difficult to keep track of historic debtors and creditors and this information needs to be kept elsewhere, duplicating work.

  14. In the Business Snapshot all of the comparatives are to previous year. In a startup this isn't meaningful as prior year balances are nil, but month-to-month or quarter-to-quarter comparatives would be super useful. In established businesses also, monthly and quarterly comparatives can be very useful.

It would be great if we could have an option to use find & recode to change to several accounts at the same time (similar to cash coding), rather than having to use the function over again each time. For example, if a client codes many transactions to general expenses, it would be useful to have a single screen where you can change the coding, with a column for "Current Account" and a second column for "New Account".

  17. Consolidate Depreciation posted to GL per asset category - currently my deprecation is reflecting per asset in the GL expense account. The Asset Register and Depreciation Schedule already serve the purpose of the per line item amount and basis for a reconciliation. Duplicating the detail adds a large amount of data into my GL ,especially when the asset base starts to grow. Please can it rather be consolidated in the GL per asset category per month ?

  19. I would like to be able to have a remapping feature (similar to find and recode) but on a bulk stage. It is common that a business operation changes and the previous COA is no longer fit for purpose and updates are needed.

    This can be done by having a feature that presents the COA with a current a proposed column. The proposed is automatically mapped to the current if no answer is added. In the proposed there is a drop down item that allows you to remap all historical transactions to a different account or remap.

  20. Customers receive an email with "Pay Now" option to pay online with Stripe.
    Customers will, instead of clicking Pay Now, just call up with CC and ask to pay invoice.
    Having the Pay Now button in the invoice screen would make this so much easier to process.

    Just let me pay an invoice using credit card from within the invoice screen
