Inventory - Filter to exclude inactive items in reports
Is it possible to filter between active and inactive inventory in inventory reports? All my inventory is listed in my reports but I only want to see active inventory.
Is there a specific inventory report you'd find this most useful in?
Being open we don't have immediate plans for adding this filter into the reports, but it'd be good to get this detail that could be shared back with the team when considered.

Good heavens, why in the world are archived items even showing. It skews the report considerably. If I've archived an item, it is only because I couldn't delete it. I no longer want it showing up ANYWHERE

I agree here. This is one of my biggest frustrations with Xero at the moment - other than the new invoicing system that doesn't show stock on hand. Inactive items should be just that, inactive, and should not be part of any active product reports or processes.

I agree with Kelly - I don't want to see inactive items. I've just gone through Xero item by item t make the items I no longer need, inactive, and I pull a report and, not only are they still there, but you can't filter it out! This is actually ridiculous!
No I have to manually remove 200 line from my report every time I pull it!
Please make this a priority to fix!

Inventory Item Summary report - It's crazy to be burdened with rows of products that are no longer active, so we're having to sift our way through those we don't currently sell.... We can't export to excel and filter it either, as there are no flags to say which products are Active and which are not.
