  2. It would be good to be able pick from a pre-defined list of countries. This would enable clean data entry. Also we are syncing data with Hubspot and it is causing issues with matching to pre-defined lists with the CRM

  3. Add the tax rate % on payslips.
    At the moment the tax is automatically calculated through Xero, casual employees are wanting to know exactly what % is being taxed from their pay and not just what is deducted and called tax!

  4. Have repeating invoices repeat for a number of cycles rather than a specific end date. So send out 10 monthly invoices not having to work out when the 10th might occur.

    Hi Wendell, it'd be good to understand the needs behind your idea here. Is there a specific reason you'd like to be able to send a invoices of different status together? 

    In lieu, you could look at running and exporting the Contact transaction reports to help paint a picture of your customers activity, this could then be sent to them outside of Xero.

  8. Have the FAr work correctly when changing the useful life of an Asset Class - it does not do so currently. This is based on the following research.....

    I have done the following in the Demo company (which has a Year End of the 31st March):

    • Posted an asset worth £6,300 on the 1st Jan 22 with a depn rate of 10%, resulting in a Depn charge to the P&L of £52.50 pcm
    • Posted an asset worth £1,969.99 on the 1st Apr 22 with a depn rate of 10%, resulting in a Depn charge to the P&L of £16.42 pcm

  9. Ability to remove unnecessary fields when setting up a client in XPM or ability to hide the blank fields after the setup so that they don't show up in the Client Details Tab. The purpose is to see the fields with details on them only and to make them look neat and tidy. Please see attached.

  10. automatically code items suitable for suspense accounts

    when there's a debit and credit by the same provider - suggest to move to 850 suspsense account - provide explanation. accountants understand this - and it reflects spending and returning items - or rebates - and if you do this 1000 times - for products that cost $1000 each - the tax man will correctly give you totals to pay - and gst rebates -
    if you incorrectly match to sales / expenses - then it could be way off.

  11. I was preparing ACT Leave return and wanted to get the report on annual leave loading payment to the employees. This is required as the annual leave loading is not part of wages definition for the ACT Leave Levy purposes. However, there is no such report available in xero payroll. Infact, it's an earning for an employee and should pop up separately somewhere in the payroll reports eg. as a pay item. I would request the product team to have a look in to this and make it possible to get the annual leave payment, sick leave payment and leave…

  13. I would like to be able to Import a file from a spreadsheet for a bank deposit received. We currently receive 1 bank deposit which will pay 200 invoices over 10 Sales Accounts.

    We currently Import a Spreadsheet file to upload our sales invoices.

    I would like to be able to Import a Spreadsheet file to upload the bank deposit received for 200 plus invoices, this would save a lot of manually typing invoice numbers in when processing the Deposit in XERO.

  14. Have a function that allows Invoice Reminders to be paused over holiday periods (to prevent clients receiving invoice reminders on Christmas Day, Easter etc). Would delay the reminders sending them out after the "holiday" dates had lapsed.

  15. Xero split - id like to see this removed. It's completely non user friendly and painful. We should be able to process a payment I
    Of choice regardless of receipt or payment. Please Xero work on this area. Other accounting package makes it so East

  16. Leave Balance Report - Updates need to be made to this report to make it more user friendly:
    - exclude zero balances - there is no filter to exclude zero balances on a per employee or per leave type basis? once a leave type has been used in a payrun once it is forever on this report even if the balance is nil and no one in the organisation has a balance in this leave type?
    - Include total in units column as well as amount column when sorted by employee or leave type

    And while changes are being made....…

  17. Show credit notes as individual transactions so that they can be matched to customer remittance advices. Also allow cross referencing to original invoice if applicable. Not faff about offsetting credits to invoices before payment received

  18. I wonder if this is possible: After sending a sales invoice to a client there is nothing on Xero stopping me from editing it. I would like to see Xero put something in place whereby once a sales invoice is marked as sent, it should not be possible at all to edit it. If the user needs to edit it, they would need to issue a credit note and new invoice. Also, if the customer requires another copy of the sent invoice it should automatically be marked “Copy”. Is that possible?

    Hi Howard, not on an individual invoice basis, however it might be worth exploring if Lock Dates could be a good way to help prevent  changes to  

    invoices that have been entered to a specific date? 

    Lock dates are limited to certain roles in an org, which would help prevent users with roles outside of these from being able to make changes to transactions within the lock date range. 

  19. On the reconcile it would be really useful to add a note to transactions on the left hand side of the screen so it's easy to reference the correct invoice/account later on - we take deposits long before the invoice is finalised and this is hard to track back sometimes, particularly when making a cash deposit to the bank or the money has come in on the card machine and could be much faster if a note could be left with the account it relates to until it can be reconciled.

  20. In the old version of Bank Reconciliation Summary report, the headers "Balance in Xero" and "Statement Balance" sitting with its balance amount in the same row.

    After updated to the new version, the report, https://reporting.xero.com/!bX2sj/v1/Run/1066 for example, the balance falls different row of its title. It doesn't make sense and this would make it complex because you are not able to use scripts or Vlookup to manage those report (if they are not align in the same row).

    Could you please consider
    1. moving the balance amount to the same row of its header, or
    2. Adding a description for…
