Quotes: Show when a quote is already being chased
It would be great to have a status on quotes for when you have chased a quote. We can add a date of this and details of what has happened in notes, however if it could show as chased on the first screen under status, this would make more user friendly.

Bills screen - Show total payment and overpayments after reconciling bills
I would find it really helpful to be able to see the amount of the invoice and the 'overpayment' on the Bills and the Sales Invoices screens after they have been 'matched. Currently the amount for both shows as zero.

Sales invoices - View attachments after paying
Clients can view and download invoice attachments after paying the invoice. Lawyers, accountants, engineers, architects, can benefit from automatically being paid for their reports, documents etc before clients can get access to them.

Contacts: Add 'on behalf of' field to contacts
I work with many architects who request quotes/invoice from our company on behalf of their client
At the moment we have to create a new contact entry for every client such as
ABC company on behalf of Fred Bloggs
ABC company on behalf of Samantha Smith
If there was an optional field, say "on behalf of" that we could include in the quote/invoice such as
on behalf of [client name]
The default would be the same as now
ABC Company
However, if the "on behalf of" option was selected a new field would appear in the quote/invoice [Client Name]The…

Project Reporting - Increasing character limit for job filter to 100-150
When searching in reports for Xero Projects, the facility to enter 100-150 characters would allow us to do a full search, instead of the approx 50 characters it currently allows.

Credit notes: Apply credit to item price
We sometimes get Credit Notes which change the price of the items. We don't want to credit the whole item, simply want to adjust the price but Xero doesn't seem to have a straightforward option for this.

The more assets the smaller the font gets, Some columns can be taken out,but we do not want that. There should be the flexibily to choose portrait & landscape and over how many pages the schedule will be generated.

Financial Statements - Option to add Opening balance when using schedules in Notes
When creating a schedule in the Notes to the Financial Statement, at present you can't include an opening balance at the schedule level, only once you have created a group within the schedule. It would be useful, if this could be done. Other reports like the Statement of Changes in Equity do have this option, so it should not be difficult to include this.

Quotes: Choose default quote screen
I work a lot with quotes and 99% of the time I am interested only in Draft quotes. So I select "Draft" but everytime I select a quote to change it, after I close a change quote screen and I return to the list of quotes, the list is shown again with "All" quotes. Why doesn't Xero keep the selection criteria to re-show the list? I literally have to re-select "draft" hundreds of time per day. It doesn't make sense to me... The same applies to the search criteria in the top part of the screen. If I want to…

Branding - Feature for producing customised stationery
It would be helpful if there was a section on Xero dedicated to personalised editable stationery. Letterhead, envelopes with logo etc
1 voteHi Andrea, there are certain places in an organisation that you have the ability to upload a logo and include this on items such as invoicing and reporting, however this isn't something we have plans to expand for a full suite of stationary.
For now, you may find a connected app in Xero's marketplace that can fulfill this need and more. 🙂

Advanced Branding | Purchase Order - Add Customer Contact Name & Contact Number
No idea - this was mentioned 5 years ago but the new system seems to have lost the original idea/moan.
This is a very simple and quick one dev-wise.
The "Purchase Order" needs to simply pull through the "customer name" and "contact number" from their profile - once you have searched for it at the bottom of the PO where it says "Delivery Address".
Every other form uses word doc templates where you can choose your merge field name and it retrieves that information from the contact profile. Why does this form not do it?

Bank Reconciliation: Include 'Uncoded statement lines' report in Manage Account dropdown menu
Uncoded statement lines report available under 'Manage Account' and preset to that bank account.
If this report was available under the Manage Account arrow it would be much easier to find and print/process.
Otherwise you need to click click to bank accounts etc
