I am here looking because my cash basis p&l is full of non-cash deferred revenue reports. As far as I can tell I can't even pull an actual cash basis report.

At least change the manual journal template so that the check box for "Show journal on cash basis reports" is not ticked by default. 99.9% of all manual journals have no cash impact. Daft

This creates so many issues for accounts being audited. Please fix this

This enhancement should be a high priority for Xero as the current cash flow reports are useless to business owners for decision making purposes. eg paying a tax debt via a credit card is not a cash transaction - paying off the credit card balance from a cheque acc is ...... pretty basic stuff. I agree with the other comments below.

Why can't non-cash items/accounts be excluded from the Statement of Cashflows report?
I 've run a Statement of Cashflows report and it includes not cash item accounts.
I've had to go through every manual journal and untick the box 'Show journal on cash basis report' to remove the journals from the Cashflow Statement.
How can the Automatic Xero Payroll journals be removed form the Cashflow Statement Report?
The Wages Payable, NI Payable, Pension Payable and Student Loan Payable are all appearing under the financing activities section. -

Cash flow statement includes Depreciation(!?), accruals, etc. that are non cash transactions. This is absolutely incorrect and this report needs to be fixed urgently.
