Customer Statement - Show in a foreign currency

Hi everyone,
Reiterating what Kelly Munro shared previously, if you're using multi-currency in Xero, invoices issued to a contact in a foreign currency will be shown in the currency it was issued - example attached.
I see there's been new voters over the last couple of months and was hoping some of you could add a comment to describe more specifically what you're looking for, if the example above is not suitable. Let me know if it is though!
For example, do you want to see the ability to show the Customer Statement in a single foreign currency only?

I would also like the option to show statements in the currency of my choice regardless of the invoice issue currency. If the customer pays in one currency for the whole invoice based on the statement, I would like to be able to record this payment against the invoices, regardless of the invoice issue currency. At present I have the same issue as Alicia Sizemore below. I have issued a statement which has invoices in two currencies and the client logically wishes to make payment in their currency of choice as one payment. The invoices were issued in different currencies based on the currency in which the disbursement was incurred.

What about the ability to show the currency of transaction on the aged payables and receivables for what is due or owed like on the statement ?

I'd definitely like the option to show statements in 1 currency regardless of the invoice issue currency, ideally choosing the currency you want to issue them into.
I don't see any benefit in having a split statement, it often causes confusion to the receiver, as they receive 2 totals but often miss that there are 2 different amounts due.

I think it should come with a multi-currencies function...what's the point of having a multi-currencies function but not able to able to generate statements in pdf other than presentation currencies.

Hi Khai 👋 if you're using multi-currency in Xero invoices issued to a contact in a foreign currency will be shown in the currency it was issued.
