Quote - Ability to have quote reminder
Add feature to automatically follow up on quotes / send quote reminder *days before expiry or *days after quote issued — as there is with invoices. This feature comes standard with most other quoting interfaces.
Hi everyone, totally get wanting to get an update from us on the idea here. Having a fair amount of interest from users I can say that Quote reminders are defintiely on the teams radar, however with current focus largely on new invoicing we do not have any immediate plans for this in the next 6 months.
I can assure you, though we mightn't be able to provide updates as frequently as you'd like to see, our product teams are heavily involved in the forums here and our community team often connect to share trends, discuss developments and externally communicate changes that are coming across Xero products. It's important to us to continue developing Xero to streamline payments and help our customers get paid sooner, and your idea here does sit in this realm.
When the teams resources open up and we can consider new development in Quotes like being able to send reminders we'll be happy to share and update you all of this, here.

  This would be a great improvement to the quote side of XERO. This would allow us to better follow up our clients and also keep our quotes up to date and tidy.
I feel like this would be a very easy feature to add in as the Invoice and Bills sections already have similar functions. -

  Just speaking with my EDM consultant and we were both stunned to realise this isn't already a core function of Xero.
We can accomplish this through some convoluted data sharing between the CRM and Zapier - but we shouldn't have to.
Invoice reminders are a core feature and it makes no sense why Quote reminders aren't also a feature/function.

  It is very important for us to have the system automatically send out quotes reminder 2 weeks before the expiry so our sales can follow-up with a call or email to close the order.

  Hi All Well I'm frustrated about this too! It would be great to have an automated reminder. I've found a temporary work around but it's not automatic so you do have to go back to your quotes sent list to manually send it. You can create an email template called Quote follow up and write your quote follow up letter and then resend a quote say 5 days later manually using the email template you've created.

  Also to add an accept decline button quotes - its a very manual process to go in and find the quote then click accept or decline once the client has advised their decision. Can the client do this on the quote too?

  As a product and serviced based business this is a seriously lacking feature that should be standard. Xero PLEASE and this to your next update, this will not take much effort to roll out and will benefit many companies.

  Can you do this yet?! When I enquired it was a known thing, the community request pages had changed over and it hadn’t gone with them.. I made a new one, your paying customers want it, when can it be implemented?
