Contact Record - Add Description column to Activity page
Ability to add "description" column on the individual contacts page. We often need to look through a supplier/customer to quickly see what types of purchases/sales we make, so having descriptions on this page is needed. Currently we have to run a report which is an unnecessary long way around.

This is a necessary feature as we have to show the PO number on the reference and the product in the description - saves a lot of time going back and forth clicking the invoice to view the service type

Would you be able to have visible the first line of an invoice showing on the awaiting invoice page on a customers section as most of our customers done give us order numbers so to find an invoice I am having to click through all the invoices to find the right one. by showing the first line would give an indication of what the job was. I have attached a photo so you can see. Maybe it could be Number/Ref then description?

In sage within the Contact Activity you can see not only invoice date, due date, ref & amount but also the description of the document.
This is particularly helpful in order to control any duplicates (different invoice but still charged twice for the same thing). right now we have to click each and single one to see the description which is not ideal. this is not for a report but for a Supplier activity page. -

Yes, this is hugely important. I need to add details such as the date that the order was delivered and who signed the relevant contract and who at the customer's company authorized the purchase. All Xero needs to do is add a details field like quotes have which would appear at the top of the invoice. A title could be added as well (quotes have this), but I don't personally need that as much.

Add invoice description column - When seeing invoice reference numbers it is impossible to know what the transaction is for without opening it. The first line of the invoice description would be useful to easily identify what invoices are for without having to open them or create a separate report.

We definitely need a description column on contact records. Having to click on each invoice reference individually to see what the invoice is for is so time consuming when you're looking for something. Creating a separate report to find a specific item is a very long way round when this simple addition would show the information at a glance.
