Xero Me - Notifying employees that they have a new payslip uploaded in Xero Me

I feel it would be very useful that once a payroll is processed and the system uploads payslips into Xero Me that the employees either get an email from the system or the associated app notifies the employee that there is a new payslip available to view.

I understand that Xero can securely email payslips, but I think that it would be useful for Xero had the ability to be able to automatically notify employees of uploads into Xero Me

    It's not a great solution but I set up a email distribution group for each pay cycle category. When I finish the pay run I send an email to the relevant distribution group apologizing for Xero's limitations and advising them their pay slip is available.

    This would be an extremely important feature for me, as I receive a welfare payment from the government where I need to provide fortnightly reports about any income I have received and what hours I have worked, which I would be referring to my payslip for that information. Despite that the company I work for also operates on a two week payment cycle, I doubt the two would lineup so the more reminders I have the better.

    I agree, some sort of alert/notification must be sent from Xero payroll software to employee/s when the pay run us POSTED or FINALISED or an email notification which includes a link for their Xero Me account. Xero can do it, and there is room for improvements.

    The ability for the Xero Me app to have push notifications so users can be sent messages when their payslips have been put on their accounts.

    I agree, I have just asked the same question! An email notification which includes a link for their Xero Me account would be very useful.
