UK Payroll - Report that displays time off balance at a given date

1. As a senior manager I want to export a report, in one operation, a table of employee name and hours left to book, I need this to chase employees who are not taking leave and know the financial risk we are carrying in the business from untaken leave e.g.

Employee name | Hours not yet booked | Hours booked but not taken yet
Fred 80 16
Joe 16 8
and so on.....

  1. Any chance we could have a quick panel of employee unapproved leave requests so I can quick go through this in the morning (at the moment I have to either open from an email or hunt around in Xero).

    Unbelievable that Xero doesn not allow us to run this report. And at the same time Xero update standard reports with no specific benefits except cosmetics; ridiculous!

    It seems a little odd, that a report of this nature is available to users outside the UK, but not the UK! WHY???

    I think a leave report as already on the Australian and NZ system would fit this requirement so should eb easy to add.

    Really need this - it's causing an audit problem not having this report as well as the obvious issue of not being able to see easily who needs to be encouraged to take leave before the end of the year.

    How do you make provisions for annual leave in xero if you have no report or bases to calculate this and how do you know what is the leave balance etc with out having to look up every employee individually.

    I cannot believe that this is not a feature. There are no payroll, employee reports. Seriously poor for a payroll system. Sage had numerous, length of service, diary reports, sickness and annual leave. These are essential business critical reports.

    Crazy that this isn't basic functionality - if data goes in - holiday bookings, then we should be able to get it back out!

    Agreed - this report should be available to enable us to track leave outstanding. We currently do this manually for 40+ employees and it takes hours.

    Just done my mid-year trawl for employees with >100 hours not yet booked, this would be so much easier if I could have a report accessible from my dashboard. I spend about 30 mins assessing 16 employees, once I have more than 40 employees will become really hard.

    This would be great, I could use the same functionality. Would also like to see another column of total leave allowance alongside the others.
