Invoice Template - Add total of 'Excluding Discounts' field
Hi Xero Support,
Could we please implement another field to use in Invoice and Quote templates which shows the total before discounts?
I want to show my customer what they would have had to pay before the discounts were taken off the price.
This makes a HUGE difference when trying to show customer their savings with applied discounts.
We need to be able to present Total Before Discount - Total Discount - Price After Discount.

can add a vote to this? I need to show the excluding discount total as my client needs to make invoices to purchase orders, and not showing the original value makes it confusing.
Also, the default layout for discounts makes it look like the discount is applied twice. Please add this as a field

Agree. The entire discount functionality in Xero really needs a revamp.

I would also suggest that a line item could be added in the subtotal section of the invoice which is the subtotal of discounts. As per the draft view, pre approval.
