Its crazy that we can't import hours worked already. Why is this not a standard feature??

I would like to move our payroll over to Xero, having tried in Apr 2023, I was hoping that changes would have been made in order for me to move our system over. After over 2 hours on the phone today, we eventually got there, but to my horror was told that I would have to log into each employee on the pay run and enter all regular and extra payments. Could you not have a multi person payment entry spreadsheet. Example attached. Once this is completed and saved, it then allows me to see each individuals pay totals in a new window, clicking through each employee, ensure the rates and values are present and correct. This is much simpler then having to click into each individual and enter everything, from Holiday's, Company sick, extra hours, overtime, bank holidays, bonus. We also reimburse expenses, mileage on the payslips with no PAYEE, NI, Pension deduction involvement.

A payroll import feature would really help improve running a payroll for hourly paid employees who also have varying pay elements.

We have providers such as the access group (People Planner System) willing to link in with Xero import templates which could really improve efficiency.

There is just no template upload option.

Xero really needs an import feature for Payroll. We don't use timesheets, so have to manually enter all the pay item information manually from a spreadsheet.

This seems so obvious I feel like I'm missing something?

Uploading a data file (Excel) containing timesheet information into Xero Payroll.

We use Livecosts to manage our numerous projects, and thus collect timesheet information within this system. The data can be downloaded into an excel file. We'd like to upload it into Xero payroll to avoid s re-keying the data. Can you help please?

We currently need to manually enter additions such as tips to several employees which is time consuming. It would be nice to enter all the tips with one CSV import into Xero.

I can't create a template with multiple earning lines to be used for employees and the times [hours] inputted manually each fortnight.
Eg., a timesheet template for
1. Home Care 3-1 Casual
2. Home Care 3.1 Full or Part-time
3. Registered Nurse 1.8
4. Registered Nurse 1.9

Each with multiple earnings lines
A. AM
B. PM
C. Night
D. Saturday
E. Sunday
F. Public Holidays

We have many employees whose hours vary week to week and the Xero system at present is lacking this ability.

It is crazy how behind the Global payroll is compared to Australia or NZ version. Just apply the same features to Global, have tax options configurable as well as holidays, and BOOM a much improved option for your Global customers. Please help us this is so critical and already built into your software on other locations. I'm using Australia version for an Australian branch of a Global client and it is SO much better then what we have!

Please get this easy to integrate feature done. So essential for good time booking and pauroll.

We must be give an option or some kind of template to upload hours in Xero if there are hourly employees and number is huge. Doing manually is quite a challenge and time wastage.
So this option must be available even if not using time sheet.
