Reporting - Change ordering of Account Type on Trial Balance when grouped
Can you please add a profit and loss formula / row in the trial balance report or create a new trial balance report that includes the profit or loss for each selected period.

The current order on the new TB report is not very logical. We really need to be able to change the order of the rows. Why can’t it be a similar format to the old TB?

Can there please be an option for the new trial balance report to group up account types in the following order:
Revenue
Expenses
Assets
Liabilities
EquityNoting that it currently groups the items but in A-Z which is difficult to run through.

I would like to remove the account type and comparison to previous day columns from the basic report.

At least have
1. Options for sorting the GL lines
2. Ability to filter between P&L and Balance Sheet GL lines
3. Ability to add formula as needed
4. Ability to add % fields (eg for GM% lines on a report)
These need to be minimum requirements on every report -

Any feedback Xero team?

Yes please!
I'd like to take the TB and rearrange to my own design P&L + B/Sh but need formula rows. I'd like to do this as my client wants to see Equity following on the P&L in management reports. -

Trial Balance in order of the Profit and Loss and then Balance Sheet.
In the new Trail Balance report you can group the nominal codes by Account Type - but it then lists the types alphabetically instead of grouping by Profit and Loss and then Balance Sheet (like the older TB report did by default). Alphabetically listing isn't very useful. Please re-list them in a logical order.
