We appreciate everyone for getting behind this idea and sharing thoughts on how important it is to track history of leave requests.

Our product team has been following this thread and agree that seeing who approved a request, and when, would add value to Xero Payroll. While we'd like to bring this to life, it isn't on our immediate roadmap.

We’ll continue to review interest in this request, and consider how we could surface the history of leave in future planning. We’ll post on this thread if there are any updates. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us.

    Please enable a timestamp showing when Employees submitted a request for leave. We have had issues with employees not being paid leave as they submitted leave after the payroll payment date, but before, we have no way to prove this as there is no timestamp on the submission. Once added, make this show in Leave reports as well.

    It would be very useful if within Payroll you can see who has approved a particular leave request for an employee

    Please can this be added as a matter of urgency as this is required throughout the year for a variety of reasons - thanks!

    Currently it's not possible to see what date a leave request was made in Xero. The only hint is the leave approver may have a request in their email showing the date and time it was requested. If this email is deleted or the enquiry is from one of the other admins you can not find this information.

    Please add the date a leave request is submitted.

    COntacted support about this yesterday- they advised me to submit a Product Idea- found yours in doing so. Will start one also, but wanted to comment and vote on yours to help our case!

    It is hard work trying to work out how many days leave have been taken as they are in order submitted rather than date order. A proper report would be great but the ability to sort by date taken would at least help.

    There are no reports that show Annual Leave requests so very hard to understand status and check for queries. This has been raised as a case previously by many users. Still no response. It is getting to the point i will move away from XERO.

    As with the financial side in Xero and their history and notes section, it would be very useful to be able to track who has approved leave or timesheets in Xero Payroll. We need site on which manager has approved the leave application or timesheet to mitigate any risk of the wrong people approving these.
