UK Payroll | Timesheets - Enter start and finish times on behalf of employee
To be able to enter and start and finish times on the time sheets on Xero me and login for staff, save miscaluculation on hours.

Agree, this is something we need too. As its available on the AU version hopefully it can be added quickly. Until then we have to continue with paper timesheets which is not efficient

We have unusual start and end times, and it's hard for my staff to work out their hours. This feature is a must for us and would save much time when completing a pay run.

Agree with this comment also. I have a client where Xero Me is perfect except for the fact that there is no ability to put in a start time and end time to assist employees with calculating the hours worked.
This has resulted in them having to find a third party software which has this functionality.

Timesheets need to have a start and finish time, and even break times, to ensure correct pay is calculated and any overtime accurately captured. I thought this was implemented due to google searches, but disappointing to find out it is, but just not available in the UK!

Agree with the above comment that timesheets need to have the option of a start and end time (as per your Australian Xero) Also the space to add a note would be super helpful. We will also be suing paper timesheets until this is rectified.

A timesheet needs to have the option of adding a start time and an end time. The added option of being able to add a note so employees can say what job they have been doing would also be greatly beneficial. Surely a basic necessity for a timesheet. Until this has been implemented we will have to continue using paper timesheets.

As a small business this is something which is vital for us to be able to use Xero timesheets. Its very disappointing to here that this feature isn't available in the UK. For now we will have to continue to use the paper timesheets until this has been implemented. Employees would also need to be able to add a comment to a timesheet when they submit them, I think this feature is also available in Australia.

We are a small company and have various contractors working on our behalf and it would be fantastic and make life a lot simpler regarding invoicing etc if we had the capability to show employees start and stop times. I believe this is something that is offered in Australia and therefore shouldn't be too hard to implement but would make life a lot easier.

Overall improvement to Xero Me functions is a no-brainer as it could be a really great feature for companies looking for a simple timesheet application, however, in its current form, I don't see it having much use to anyone. We just need it to have start-finish times with an option for recording unpaid work (for lunch hours etc).

We have seasonal workers all over the world, weekly paid. I need their managers to enter hours in and approve them using Xero Me. Currently, I have to manually input all hours worked into Xero from Excel spreadsheets each manager uses for their team's hours, very time consuming! We also use Job Codes so we can see the expenditure for wages per job.

We really need this function - we don't use Xero me currently because its no good as it is.
We are construction related industry & we need to be able to add notes to each shift / day as our employees need to enter site details, customer name, job number & breaks taken for office to calculate any bonuses due. -

The way payroll is at present is pointless. As employers you have a duty of care to ensure lunch/breaks are taken. There is no record of this. Currently pointless.
