Timesheets: Daily approvals

Weekly Payroll calendars and get paid monthly.

It would be advantageous if timesheets can be submitted daily and approved daily.
Reason: approved cannot remember hours staff worked last 30 days. approver has to make a note of hours and then refer to notes when approving timesheets submitted.

    Staff would be in a much better routine if they could put their timesheet in weekly. We pay fortnightly but the staff never remember if it’s an “Off Week” of payroll. Even when I request staff to enter time daily, they all seem to wait to the day of payroll to enter their time and then its two weeks’ worth to enter.

    If they could do it weekly, I wouldn’t have to chase all the staff every fortnight.

    So many of my clients request for weekly timesheets also and they pay fortnightly or monthly.

    Seems common sense to me.

    I agree flexibility on how time sheets are setup would be good.
    I would like to approve them weekly, but I have fortnightly paid staff

    Our business has monthly pay runs, but we need to approve the timesheets daily/weekly. Can you please remove the link between pay frequency and timesheet frequency?

    I would like to be able to work on the whole weeks time sheets
    one after the other
    No have it default back to the timesheet page, and you have to find the next one.
    Also you cannot select what calander you wanta s the default

    Definitely a requirement. I want my management team to sign off the rota's weekly, but the pay cycle is monthly. It is unrealistic to ask the team to remember everyone's hours for a month! I now need a secondary way of recording hours worked, which kind of defeats the point!

    I definitely agree flexibility on how time sheets are setup would be good.
    Myself, I would like to approve them weekly, but I have monthly paid staff.

    This would be enable the timesheets to be usable for a large payroll. Currently having supervisors approve bulk timesheets for a fortnight is untenable as they would need to keep separate records therefore negating any efficiencies by using the system

    We would appreciate Daily approvals for timesheet also.

    Supervisors can't (nor be expected to remember everyone's hours for the whole pay period.

    this feature would also assist our reporting of working hours for reports to main contractors and other organizations.

    Please add the Daily approvals feature into Xero. We need this as a matter of priority.
