Xero Expenses: Automatic receipt scan in web app
Add the ability to extract data from scanned receipts in the Xero Expense web app.
At the moment, both the mobile app and HubDoc can automatically scan receipts and extract data (date, amount, payee, etc). This doesn't work in the web app and Hubdoc cannot send documents to the Expense app.
We use a document scanner to scan multiple reciepts at a time and then batch upload to our expense keeping app (Zoho Expense). Drag and drop multiple receipts into Zoho Expense and the software will automatically extract the data from multiple reciepts at a time. This is more user friendly and faster than taking photos one at a time on a mobile app, or uploading them on the Xero Expense web app where we have to manually extract the data.

I definitely agree with Mark. This function and being able to email receipts in to be analyzed (as we can do with bills in Xero web) are key functions that competitor products have.

In the app I cant edit an entry after I have recorded it. I can add a file. but cant adjust the account ot description etc.
