BAS | Activity Statement report - Ability to type custom date range
When looking for BAS transactions for your own date range under the activity statement report section, currently there are limited view period options, meaning that you have to select the dates in a calendar. Being able to type a custom date range is not an option.
It would be a lot more efficient to be able to type a custom date range as can be done with other reports.

Thanks to everyone that has added their vote to this idea. We’ve just rolled out a change to Activity Statements, allowing you generate a BAS report for custom date ranges.

Activity Statement - Custom Date Report - Ability to type date range rather than select from calendar drop down.
When using the Activity Statement custom date report, the custom dates are either selected from a list of common date formats or you select a 'from' and 'to' date. The fields for the from and to date cannot be typed into. You have to select the dates in a calendar. It would be great if you could just type the dates in, like you can with most other reports.
I use this report a lot to compare BAS from prior years where I don't want the unfiled amounts included. It is very time consuming manually selecting the dates.
