Without this feature we cannot offer our customers an ongoing monthly subscription as the current reconciliation process is too cumbersome.

We would like to offer our customers monthly auto payments for our subscription services. When a new customer subscribes for a monthly subscription, we would like to set up a repeating invoice in Xero and make the autopay mandatory for the customer to activate the ongoing subscription. Currently it is offered as an option to chose an autopay for the customer which is not practical for us.

Absolutely. Or at least a way to configure the default (which for us would always be checked)
Why would anyone create a scheduled invoice and not want autopay turned on.

(What's worse is that someone with Invoice only access rights can't turn it on. They can raise an invoice, they can approve and invoice, they can email out the invoice, but they can't set that the customer should be offered autopay (so more work for me) !!

I'm surprised this hasn't been more popular Henrik!
We'd like to be able to make autopay compulsory, rather than just an option.
In other words, 'if you want our service, you have to set up autopay'.
It's like a direct debit without all the paperwork.
