Email template - Placeholder for tax exclusive amount
Email template - option for insert placeholder for GST exclusive amount ('Subtotal' amount).
At the moment, I can only do the Total amount, which includes GST.

This seems like a real oversight and one that should be easily fixed

There must be another request for this somewhere as I voted for this several years ago...
Please add this - every invoice that we email we have to copy the subtotal from the invoice and paste it into the email followed by the text "+GST" (used to have this text as standard until forgetting the copy-and-paste led to complaints). We do this as customers have an ex-GST in their expectations and react badly when they get the standard GST-included email.
New invoicing emailing makes it easier, as can review the invoice to get the subtotal, but it's still extra work, something to remember and an opportunity for errors. How difficult is it to add an email placeholder from an invoice field? -

It would be good to have the option of including the amount excluding VAT on the email template that gets sent out with the invoice.

Fully support this. A platform as big as Xero should be able to create this placeholder with no issues.

Xero kindly uses a placeholder to be included in an email template.
The only placeholder to show a price is [Quote Total]; but this INCLUDES VAT.
When sending a Quotation to an End User, this is fine. However, we are sending quotes to main contractors who want to see the NETT price before VAT.
I's just confusing for customers and easier to understand if it's presented in an email as [NETT QUOTE PRICE] and we can say "plus VAT" next to it.
Can we please have a placeholder for [NETT QUOTE PRICE] or the capability to divide the [Quote Total] by 1.2?
Many thanks...
