User role- Limit invoice only draft only users to their own invoices
User role- Limit invoice access to seeing and working on only user's own invoices. So as to enable different user to work on their own invoices without having access to other user invoices. Only manager should have access to all members of his team .
Hi team, coming back across this idea I wanted to confirm that this is how the Invoice Only - Drafts role currently works - Someone with this role will be able to create and submit bills and invoices they enter to be approved by someone else with the right permissions in the org.
They will only have access to view invoices and bills that they have entered themselves, and will not be able to view bills or invoices raised by others in the organisation.
Danny, it sounds like you're referring to the Invoice Only - Purchase role which will enable a user to raise and approve bills they have entered. The user is not able to access Sales, but they'll be able to view any bills or purchase orders that have been raised by any user in the organisation. We have a somewhat similar idea for a tick box option for specific aspects when assigning invoice only role that you may like to join, here.

To expand on this, I will paste my initial query that more clearly defines the issue;Hi there,
I am the company owner, we're still in the process of adapting over to Xero and enjoying the system very much.
I have just realised when being sat with an employee, that as they have permission for purchase invoices and purchase orders, they can now see ALL bills we have recorded in the business.
Ideally I would like this employee to only see invoices related to the invoices that they have involvement in (e.g the ones they have raised PO's on, or certain sections of the business).What I have realised is that this employee has access to view more private bills - like our premises invoices and also invoices from other members of staff who are formally paid as subcontractors but are essentially colleagues. We would like to "hide" these bills from the users permissions so they can only see the bills relevant to them.
Is this possible?

As such I fully agree that this is a CRITICAL feature. I want the staff member who raises PO's for say, materials, to be able to see the invoices for materials so they can approve them. But they shouldn't be allowed to see invoices for - overheads, other staff members, recruitment costs, invoices relating to directors personal spend etc. This feature is actually exposing our spend across the entire company to our employees who deal with purchasing and we could really do with a feature to avoid this.
