Contacts - View recent invoices > report to be filtered by contact
When you go into a customer and click View recent invoices report, currently it shows a list of all their previous invoices, which is clear and easy to read. When you click on the new report version it shows a list of approved sent and paid invoices for all customers, but only for the current month. This is totally useless as you then have to filter it to the customer, and change the date back far enough to show all the invoices. Can you please change this so it is the same as the old report.

Also, just realised that the "approved sent and paid" needs to actually be "approved sent paid AND UNPAID" !!!
The old View recent invoices report showed both. The new version needs both also.

NOT ONE CUSTOMER of Xero is happy, bring back all the old reports, if Xero want the new ones leave them there but I don't see why Xero would when not one customer wants to use them! WE are the ones that need to be happy. If these reports don't come back, I personally will be interested in knowing of a better accounting package for our large business! I use the old P&L & Budget Variance report alot, the new ones are just soooooo time consuming and I don't have time for it!

This is extremely important and it is unclear why they took a very good report away and with no warning. This is not a new idea but a request to give back what we already had.

bring back the old report functions or from what i have read customers will move away and go to another platform
why change what was working

Absolutely ridiculous that it was not implemented like this in the first place. Are Xero DELIBERATELY trying to upset all of their customers.
The same issue applies to the "Recent Bills REport"

Completely agree!!! I want to see the customers entire purchase history in date order in 1 click.
I have just had a 20 minute phone call with one of the Xero support people. Sadly, there is no easy fix to this issue at the moment. You either have to
A) spend loads of time customising the "new" report every time you use it for every customer
or
B) save a custom template, but again you have to customise it by changing the customer filter every timeBoth options are far too time consuming, especially when the old version was available with 1 click and took 1 second to load.
Total farce that Xero did not think this one through. Please fix the "new" version ASAP !!!

Absolutely agree, the new report creates an extra step having to change the filters every time. I run this report multiple times a day and it's creating extra work which is very irritating.
I logged a support ticket with Xero as I'd assumed there was a way to change the default date range, but the response was "At the moment the new reports default in that manner and it not possible to edit them. However as these are new reports we are taking all new feedback on the reports."
It seems to be a theme with Xero that they make changes nobody seemed to ask for, then respond to any resulting feedback with 'we've no plans to change this'
