Transaction Entry - Alert to warn when a future date has been entered
have a warning come up when an entry is dated in the future to avoid posting to the wrong year

Quite often when a future date is used, on a draft invoice for example, it's unintentional. You enter 2025 when you meant 2024. It would therefore be a good idea if Xero warned users when they enter a future date (with a popup "Did you mean to put that date in? Confirm Yes/No") before it's approved. That way, there's less chance they will send it to the customer with a date they didn't intend, or even notice after it's approved, so the edit function has to be opened prior to amending.

I would also like to have the option for Xero to give a warning if a transaction is dated a certain amount of days before the current date. For example if today is 1st March and I try to date a transaction 30th October it will warn me the transaction date is more than 30/60/90 days in the past

This is something very basic and important. Should be introduced ASAP
