Invoicing - Template invoice including an inventory item
Permanent inventory item on a specific invoice template
For example, we are an automotive repair shop
If I was to have a specific invoice template for 'vehicle servicing' and would like every service invoice to come up with Sundries and Freight automatically
This would be a great way to save time as well as making sure everything is being charged out correctly
Hi Paul, while not a perfect solution, currently you could create and repurpose a Draft invoice for a dummy contact. When you want to create an invoice with this item you'd use the 'Copy to draft invoice' option.
We don't have plans for developing anything that'd accomplish what you're currently asking here. We'll monitor the interest and share if there's any change.

Ability to create an "New Service Bundle Invoice" template that saves the list of all service items (e.g description, cost), you offer for a specific level of service. For example, If we offer a silver and gold bundle, and the silver bunder consists of items 001, 002, and 003. The Gold bundle consists of items 001, 002, 003, and 004. I would like to create a template for the Silver Service and a template for the Gold service, so I don't have to rebuild all the included services each time.
It would work like a repeating template, except it would not repeat. This is NOT as a branding template (under invoice settings).
Please do NOT reply with instruction on how to create products/service items, as this template requests creating an invoice that includes items that we have already built.
Thank you.

It would be really helpful if we could add to the current branding theme. I am trying to set up an invoice based on a certain branding theme so that when someone selects the particular branding theme (ie car servicing) you can populate with the inventory items commonly used for that particular invoice. So, when you select a particular branding theme, it will come up with all the items that may be required. I have set up item codes that would be used when billing and quoting on a particular service. We may not use all of them, but if they are all included and we deleted what we don't need we are more likely to include everything and not miss something.

As business owners we have op costs, for my business we get Goverment licenseing, not for profit entry fees, fleet costs, admin costs. A portion of op cost needs to be invoiced to customers. I have 3 - 4 line items I need on an invoice template.
The habit is not always there when having to do it manually, you are processing multiple invoice then you realise, you missing certain items and its too late, you have lost money and your profit is going in the wrong direction.

Having a business that charges a few things on EVERY invoice, it would be an idea that on opening every invoice, the specified products, automatically are entered.
