New invoicing - Move CIS labour income deduction to bottom of invoice
Keep the CIS Labour Income Deduction line at the bottom of the new invoice format.
why has it been moved to the top of the invoices on the new layouts??

Agreed. This is a fundamental mistake that Xero have made with the new invoicing, we shouldn't have to be pleading for it on an Ideas Chat Group. Having a correct subtotal generate on invoices, have VAT and CIS Deductions below it, and then the Grand Total at the bottom IS NOT A NEW IDEA it's been an idea since accounting was invented thousands of years ago, and was absolutely fine on Classic Invoicing :-(

this has caused an issue for me in quite a few cases people have gone on to deduct CIS from the amount which already has the CIS taken off. its just not obvious at the top that it needs paying.
Raised with Xero and they say its a known issue to get it fixed i need to comment on this post.. so here is hoping its addressed in the next bug release. -

This is definitely something that needs to change. It looks unprofessional being shown as a line item and not as a subtotal relating to tax. The classic invoice templates worked correctly, why was this not carried forward when classic invoicing was replaced?
