Payroll AU- workers compensation
Workers Comp pay item leave accrual idea.
There is an option to "Accrue Leave for this Earnings Rate" when setting up the WC pay item.
What would be good is the option to accrue for AL or PL separately as this alters according to state law eg in WA, AL is accrued but not PL on WC payments.

That’s a great point! Having the option to accrue AL and PL separately based on state laws would make payroll much easier to manage. Hopefully, the developers consider adding this feature.

When setting up Workers Compensation as a pay item there should be a selection available to tick Accrue Leave Entitlements. In NSW in AU leave entitlements must accrue on Workers Compensation payments. Just as there is the option to select Exempt from SG, why is there not an option to select accrue leave? As it stands, you have to make a manual adjustment to the accrual during the payrun. This can and has lead to mistakes and missed accruals. This is an easy fix surely?
