Pricing Plans - Option for a more basic version of Xero
We signed up several years ago, and were really happy with the software as it was. Now we keep update after update, and price rise after price rise. Our cost has now doubled in 5 years. I know there's fancy "features" added to it now, but I don't need them. All I want is the version from a couple of years ago. Accounting, payroll for 5, Classic invoicing, old style reports, old style bills page, old style contacts, no cashflow analytics.
Why not just make the older version available as a basic package for say £25 a month. No fancy bells and whistles. Just basic, and easy. Then the people who want the bells and whistles can pay more for them.

Because they simply don't care. Lump everyone into a rip off plan for features they don't want or ask for and charge through the nose for it. We are all stuck with it. The only option we have is to vote with our feet and leave in droves. Then they might listen when the share price plummets. Give zoho invoice and go. They now have single touch payroll for a fraction of the cost.

Did you call the company xero on purpose so you could deliberately aim for Zero stars for xero!! My idea is for xero to stop jacking the price of a rubbish product that gets worse every year by charging for features no one asked for and then you tell us you've listened to us. Auto saving invoices for example. Who asked for that? No one. At least let us turn it off. sort it out. You just don't care. I for one am jumping ship. I can't be bothered with this overpriced rubbish when there are so many other options on the market that are better. Who's with me??

The cheapest subscription at $35 / month is still a very expensive plan for sole traders with minimal invoices and no employees, who can just use a spreadsheet instead, so it makes it difficult to convert some small business clients to Xero, please consider a cheaper option
