+1 for this. Xero support for project based professional services businesses is ....disappointing to say the least. The Xero projects app is woefully unreliable, and hasn't been updated for 15 months. There are many timekeeping app options, but I'm yet to find one that integrates with Xero and properly passes projects and tasks that may have a different charge rates for different projects.

And the inability to simply import csv timesheets is astounding.

The Time entry process is very long winded. We either need an interface like clockify or to be able to enter time on projects as a bulk upload

This would greatly improve efficiency and make it a lot easier for us. It's very time consuming manually inputting data from one a spreadsheet into Xero.

We are new to Xero projects and the feedback from all users would be to have the ability to enter time against multiple/range of dates rather than one day at a day - this would make the tool more efficient from a user point of view and reduce user frustration. Is this on a roadmap for development?

This would be very useful, I am surprised it has not been implemented yet.

Entering individual time entries wastes a lot of time, especially if more than 1 employee worked on the same project for the same amount of time.

Need this 100%! This is one item that costs me a ton of time.

Would be very helpful to be able to do this - would aid efficiency significantly / reduce some levels of frustration with time entries (which are just marginally slow enough to be annoying because it's over an internet connection and the data entry isn't intstantaneous

Xero Projects time entry mass copying
We need the ability to copy multiple repetitive time entries.
Our team members work on multiple tasks/projects daily and it would save them a lot of time if they can copy the whole week/day of time entries from previous week/day

This is an essential element if Xero Projects is to be considered as viable for organisations like ours.

We are a consulting firm with 20+ staff members. We need daily time entries with brief description of activities performed each day; need to be able to enter daily, or in bulk weekly, then able to print off the months timesheet as a one page format to accompany the monthly invoice (refer attached sample).

Projects time entries to look more like a timesheet entry. Being able to look at the week as a whole and enter time by project & task across the week for each user. We have users who don't enter payroll timesheets and would only need to enter time against projects. The current method for entering time in projects is clunky and time consuming.

If this can't be done then a bulk upload into the projects time entry is required.

This seems daft that it hasn't already been provided.We use a time logging system similar to Trello, the promoted app, but we won't be switching to Trello. A generic upload/API should be available. The time logging within xero is not developed enough to replace what we have.

Absolutely Critical!!! I need it yesterday!

I paid for Xero Projects expecting that the timesheet entry field would link to projects but it doesn't. This would be a great feature as it would link two existing things Xero already has. It would allow staff to allocate their time to various projects when they input their timesheets. I will have to use tracking categories instead and stop my Xero Projects subscription.

This critical to workflow - not having this leads to duplicate effort and makes Projects useless for us.

the break of functionality between the upload of time entries from Float to Xero has really made a mess of our workflow and made the projects reporting pointless. Really disappointed!

TImesheets and Time entries into projects need to work together. Everyone is essentially putting their time in twice which is double handling and annoying.
Different parts of Xero need to work more congruently.
