  2. AI automated Supplier Statement Reconciliation! To allow business to match the invoices in their bills to pay with the invoices shown on their suppliers statements to ensure none are missing and everyone is paid on time without delays. We are currently looking to outsource to external parties not related to xero to do this so it is possible to implement. But to have it centralised and available within xero would be great. By automating this process allows for focus towards other accounting and business aspects.

  3. Copy to Draft
    We use copy to a draft invoice every day for Sales Entries in a Hotel Business.
    The base Sales Invoice has numerous lines for all the possibilities to process each day's
    sales. EG: Sales - Bottleshop, Sales - Bar, Sales - Bistro etc. There are approximately 50 lines on each Sales Invoice. Amounts are updated in the row that is applicable. Some rows will be $0 on some days. The GL codes need to stay the same.

    Appreciate the detail and screenshot you've shared. You're first note around the account code filling may be related to the auto suggestion feature and I've added your vote onto this idea so if there's any change there, you'll be updated.

    In relation to freezing or having a floating header row - Can see where creating longer invoices this could be helpful too. I've updated the title of your idea here so we can begin tracking interest specifically in this and share if there are developments.

  4. When entering a quote, we have to enter an account code for every line of a quote. If we type one in incorrectly (for example entering code 2000 instead of 200), then Xero opens a link to add account codes. The problem is that this does this in the same window. You cannot go back to your 38 line quote that you spent nearly a half hour creating because Xero didn't open a new window, no they put the link to new account codes in the same window as the quote.   5. When entering a new bill, sometimes the VAT value is out by a few pence.

    A spinner button added to the 'Tax Amount' column to quickly increase or decrease the value rather than having to delete and retype would be convenient.

  6. We use tracking categories of building jobs. It would be great to archive the tracking category once the job it complete. Allowing a P&L by tracking category report to only show active jobs.

  7. Be able to remove the csv file option when viewing invoices online. I have a template set up which gives a detailed description but only a total price as I do not want customers to see the individual prices. However if they view online and download the CSV they can see this detail. It only seems to happen when emailed to Gmail accounts as we don't include the invoice link in the email. I now have to put in 0's for each line item and manually enter the total amount.

  8. Payment information on invoices updates automatically from information held in the payment services section of Xero. Except, using the .DOCX templates, they don't update automatically your business's bank account details.

    Scenario - you accept invoice payments direct to your business bank account. Those details are included in the invoice template. You change your bank account details. You have to update each and every invoice template you have to show the new bank account details. However, if you change your Stripe payment information for example, that information is automatically updated in your templates. Why the different treatment?

  9. New Invoicing has switched the position of Add from file library and Upload files. Whilst this may seem a small change, users are familiar with the order from left to right and I personally keep clicking the wrong one. Changing this order has no streamlining purpose so can it please be changed back?

  11. New Invoicing - Show selected From Email

    The old invoicing would show which Email address would be used as the from email when emailing an invoice to a client. This is an important double check to be sure I'm using the correct email address for the particular client. Since this has been removed I now have to remember to check the Email settings in a different tab before sending every invoice, which is very time consuming and is the primary reason I switch back to Classic every time I try the frustrating "New Invoicing" system after suffering through its hard…

  12. I normally add a copy(email download or photo) of any bill when loading it to Xero. It is easy to do with emailed bills but lets say a coffee bill, can take a lot of time. (Taking a photo, email it, download it and add it)

    It would have been nice taking a photo of the bill through the Xero app to load it as a bill, from your phone.

When showing a list of statements to send (from Business - Invoices - Send Statements) from Send Statements, can the invoice number be shown on the screen so sorting can be done on invoice number. Also the date of the invoice would be handy as well to give an idea of when first looking at the front screen as to how old they are. It would make choosing and sending quicker and more efficient.

  18. In the Standard Invoice template - the delivery address currently shows in the middle column, rather than under the name of the business. This is confusing if a business has multiple locations, with one centralised billing address. It means that the centralised billing office can't easily see which location the invoice is for/items were delivered to.
    It would be better to show the delivery address under the name of the "To" so it's obvious which location the items were delivered to with the name and the corresponding details of address and contact person.

  19. We used to have the option to add/remove highlighting in a text box directly from the main page of draft reports, however this feature was removed and now we can only Bold/Italics/Underline/Bullet point, but no highlight.

    It would be great if we could add this function back in, so we didn't have to go to 'Edit Layout' to change add/remove highlighting anymore.

  20. In the New Invoicing Template you have to enter a Qty for every line as the default Qty is "0"... In the classic version and what we are all used to it's "1".. As a ball park guess I'd say the use of Zero qty on a line is a lot less common than any other number from 0-9 and I'd guess most lines are a qty of x1.. If I wanted to default my qty's to Zero, I can not see the point in making invoices :)))) Come on who made Zero a default qty for invoicing??
