  1. It will be really great from the Aged Receivables Reports to be able to send Statements to Customers without having to leave the page and come back to it.

    A flag, on the Aged Receivables Reports, of when last a statement was sent will also be very useful.

  2. FILTERS have to be reset each time you return to a page. This is common throughout Xero and is a real nuisance, but especially if you are editing sales invoices. E.g. filtering on a group of customers and a date range has to be done to edit each invoice individually. Resetting the filter for each invoice you edit is a real pain.

  4. Currently if you export your fixed asset register, the dates are exported in mm/dd/yyyy format. If you use the dd/mm/yyyy format, then the figures are wrong in excel. e.g. 06 April is read as 04 June (and the figure eg 44088 is the wrong one). Other dates come as text e.g. 2/28/2022 and are not read at all. It should be possible to export them as number eg. 44080, which can be formatted as required.

    Thanks for the confirmation, Ann - I've just updated the idea title and categories to get this showing where others might be interested too. 

    Most recently we released a new Journal report with a lot more flexibility than the older version, and should help with finding a journal you're looking for. 


    You can search for a journal by filtering the Journal report by description 😁

  8. Hi, It would be helpful to have following information on activity statement : Total Invoiced amount ( as on Invoice report) and all payment activities ( payment date and amount). Now we have to send two different documents for customers -Invoice report and the activity statement. Would be nice to have all required Information on one statement. Thank you!

    Hi Ruta, apologies for the delayed response. I can see what you mean and appreciate the example you've provided (Thanks!). 

    From the looks, although not an exact statement format, the Receivable Invoice Summary report would show the details you're in need of here. 

    Within this report you can include Net/Gross columns of the invoiced amounts and also have Payments/Credits shown in a separate column. 

    You'll also be able to filter the report by Contact so you could export for a single Customer if that helps too. 

  9. Xero Reporting - Please add functionality to Right Align text in custom tables in notes.

    Also, Lots of white space on Depreciaiton schedules making text very small. Add functionality to drag column lines much like excel.

  10. We have two accounts (bank & credit card) from the same institution. For bank feeds, please allow multiple logins from the same institution.

    Once we login for a bank feed on one of the accounts, we can't set up the bank feed for the other account. It just asks us to choose the already logged in account.

    I also reached out to support. They said "a Xero user can only use one set of credentials (per bank) in a Xero organisation. We recommend that you ask another Xero user to login and activate the feed…

  12. My payment provider has recently started taking their fee percentage prior to the deposit, versus charging me at the end of the month.

    This has caused each of my deposits to mismatch the invoice total.

    Meaning, I need to add a bank fee on each individual transaction.

    It would be EXTREMELY useful to have a "default bank fee" or "default credit card fee" button that would:

    1) Remember the Contact as [Payment Provider] (currently have to type that in manually)
    2) Add a default description "Credit Card Processing Fee"
    3) Allocate the charge to an account [5150 - Credit Card…

  13. Please can you add an additional account under expense type in the chart of accounts for corporation tax?
    One which will automatically post to the profit & loss in between 'Profit on Ordinary Activities Before Taxation' and 'Profit after Taxation'.
    The default setting of overhead and having it in with bank fees etc is frustrating.

  15. Can you get the new TB to download with the account code and description in the same column as was possible in the old TB. (see attached)
    It's a great column to upload into tax software as a description, instead of having to mess about with 2 separate code and description columns.

  16. It would be a great option to recognise various end customers through a single primary client (if that makes sense). i.e 'The ABC Fund' CARE OF '123 Pty Ltd'... The DEF Fund' Care of 123 Pty Ltd; So 123 Pty Ltd might have e,g 10+ customers who like to pay their own invoices but id like the invoices all to go and be recorded against 123 Pty Ltd. So my clients are accountants who have multiple smsf trustee clients of their own that they provide to me to audit. The accountants pass the invoices they recieve onto the smsf trustees…

  17. We need to be able to create a report that lists inventory item sales and includes the customer name AND other customer contact information such as email address or phone number.

    There have been occasions where I've needed to contact a large group of customers that have purchased a product from me due to a misprint in a book or an update to a title. At present, the only way I can do this is to export my inventory report and add the contacts manually. Xero Support Specialist - Daniel has confirmed this.

    Appreciate your feedback on the change from older reports to new. While we don't have any direct plans for making updates to the formatting of formulas when exporting to excel we have just made some updates to excel export of reports I wanted to highlight for you here, where we've;

    • Adjusted the default zoom from 150% to 100%, and slightly change the size of title and currency fonts to make the report easier to read
    • Made small changes to the formatting of cells in rows to create more consistency across the report

    We'll stay tuned into the support for other changes coming through the site here an let you know if there's any news on this, here.
