  1. An option to set the date range to "last week" from the date range pull down options in account transactions reports.

    Being able to create custom account transactions reports set to "last week" would be invaluable for our weekly reporting, avoiding fiddly changes to the date range each week when pulling a number of reports, and preventing any dating errors.

    It would be a great advantage.

    Should be an easy to add that option to Xero, I would have thought.

    And it is a common option (e.g. GoCardless has it.)

  3. Hi there, I would like to be able to assign line items (that are the same) on a bill to multiple customers.

    i.e. 2 x oil filters, assign ONE of each to separate customers without having to enter them on separate lines on the bill to do so.

    Also, when creating an invoice and viewing "items to assign to a customer" I would like to be able to see the Supplier AND their invoice number in that list.

  4. Batch print packing slip

    We are able to batch print invoices through the awaiting payment page, but having the ability to batch print packing slips would be great. Having to click in and out of invoices to print the packing slip for multiple entries daily takes quite a bit of time. Can this feature be added?

  5. We have standing orders set up for multiple properties for water rates, business rates, electricity and rent all of which are invoiced quarterly/six monthly/annually.

    Can we have the ability to create bank rules for supplier overpayments to a contact??

  6. Since October 2023 automatic bank feeds with Maybank are not working anymore. Before that, they worked perfectly fine, but since then they are not working, and have not been restored from Xero ever since. As per Support there is a technical problem, and they are working on fixing it for over a year now. So this is not even a new idea, but only the request to restore an important feature that already existed before. Please work harder on fixing this issue!

During reconciling, when adding details - Description section coming from bank feed could be auto-highlighted saving time, allowing it to be changed more easily, rather than having to mouse across to select or (triple tap trackpad). This way if it didn't require a change of description, we can tab across. But having it automatically selected when tabbing through fields would be amazing if possible. eg. of highlighted area attached.

  8. I have a client with three bank accounts. Currently it generates me an overall Profit and Loss Statement. if I want to get a Profit and Loss Statement for a single bank account I have to download to excel to be able to process this. It would be great if the Xero system would allow this option. Thank you very much.

  9. Currently, when a client clicks on "Ask a question" when viewing their invoice. This message is sent to the staff members personal email that created the contact in Xero rather than the delegated email address the organisation has selected in Email settings.

    What if the staff member no longer works at the company or these emails are being missed as they are not sent to the organisations delegated email?

  11. Once a report is published, there's no way to edit the name. I like to add a reference in the publish-name of a report so that I can easily find the specific one that I'm looking for in the list of published reports - especially useful when you're publishing multiple bank account reconciliation reports. Sometimes I forget, and the only way to change the name of a published report is to delete the report and re-create it.

  13. Set credit card accounts as liabilities, not assets. We are not a bank, so credit cards are properly liabilities. There should be no reason these accounts should be reported as assets in any circumstance.

    I can't set Account Type for bank accounts unless there is a feed associated with it. Even though, I'm not sure what good that actually does, and we don't have feeds for all our accounts. "Credit Card" is an available account type for bank accounts when they are feed-enabled, so adding credit cards as bank accounts appears to be what Xero intended, and that's what we…

  14. When copying an existing invoice to a new invoice, the reference should not be copied over as well or the user to be given the option to not copy the reference number to the new invoice.

    There are many times, reference number is not updated or removed and then needs to be fixed at a later point.

  15. There's an inconsistency between different parts Xero systems. For example:

    New Invoicing has Autosave.
    New Contacts require us to use the Save button.

    Reports:
    Accounts receivable reports refer to Invoices.
    Accounts Payable reports ALSO refer to Invoices ... Xero terminology for Payables is Bills.

    Is there a reason for these differences and lack of consistency across the Xero platforms?

  16. When transferring money between bank accounts in Xero - it would be good to restrict the user to only making the transfer if there is actually a matching transaction in the other account. As it is currently, the user can make the transfer and then it sits in the unreconciled payments or receipts for a bookkeeper to tidy up later on.

    1. Enable partial sale of assets - allows one to dispose of assets that have been added as one transaction.

    2. Enable bulk sale of assets - allowing one to select all assets involved within a sale to be sold for one purchase price i.e. sale of a fitout of a Hairdresser, over the years they had purchased numerous items and completed numerous renovations.

  18. When you have a large number of Tracking category options and you wish to add another, you have to scroll heavily to get to the bottom of the list each time you wish to add another.
    This is not time efficient. The option to add another tracking category option should be at the top of the page for simplicity and time management of the XERO user

  19. A function within Find and Recode that can split code each transaction by a percentage.

    This could be an additional button next to the Recode button called "Split" which brings up a pop-up window like Recode does.
