  2. Can you create a way that when we send out a Tax Return to be signed in Practice manager, Xero sends a notification to the admin team at the same time so they can create an invoice.

  3. We need the ability to add multiple email addresses for a client. Not extra Contacts, but the main email address for a client. Currently you can only enter one email address, this is the address that tax payment letters (for example) are automatically sent to. However, some clients want these to go to more than one address. We have to keep a separate spread sheet and our Tax administrator needs to manually send tax payment letters to those clients.

    Thanks for your involvement and sharing your interest in adding multiple email addresses for a client in Practice Manager with us here.

    This idea has been reviewed by our product team however with other priorities right now we don't have immediate plans for developing this capability. If there's any movement or news we'll definitely share with you all, here.

  4. Run a report that will show all notes added by a client.

    E.g
    - Client A reviews their xero, and realises the cost centre is incorrect and adds a note (not the description)
    - Manager is reviewing the bookkeeping and wants the bookkeeper to reallocate items and attaches notes to the reports.

    These notes cant currently be ran on a single report.

Where clients are subscribers to their own Xero but add an adviser who is linked to a Xero partner practice, it would be useful if there was an option for them to choose to give the practice as a whole access so that if, eg, their contact leaves, the practice administrator can give access to their new contact as long as they are Partner Staff.

Previously, there was a list online which showed all the data fields and which reports contained which fields, which made it really easy to build customised reports that held all the fields I needed, or allowed me to confirm that I needed to combine two separate reports. That list has disappeared.
    Can you please release an updated list of data fields for the report builder for XPM so that it's easy to identify which fields belong in which report?

  7. You have 4 other online cloud document management systems listed via XPM. We use SharePoint and would request this to be added as a further option to link our programs for efficiency and easy of use.

    We would then like tasks to be setup in jobs, that we can "link" documents in Sharepoint, to tasks/jobs in XPM.

  8. Rename "other name" field to "middle name/s", need another field for casual name (say for example people that go by their middle name) and also put first name or casual name on contact details screen that is shown on front screen, currently showing other name for some reason...

  9. It would be great to be able to set up Security Groups with permissions set for each group, which is then applied to each staff member by adding the Staff to that Security Group.

    This way, if a permission needs to be changed for a group of Staff, it can be done at the security group level rather than having to click into each Staff member and edit their individual permissions - which can create inconsistencies and easily miss settings when dealing with a large number of Staff.

  10. As a dedicated Xero partner, I've been leveraging the capabilities of the XPM Suite in conjunction with Seamlss to manage and streamline my operations. While the current integration offers a range of functionalities, I've observed that the existing API limitations are hindering our efficiency.

    One of the most pressing concerns is the manual transfer of sensitive client data, especially Bank Details. My administrative team often finds themselves in the tedious and risky position of copying and pasting this critical information due to the API constraints. This not only consumes valuable time but also poses potential security risks.

  11. XPM include archived clients in XERO search / list endpoints. Similarly, to how contacts in the accounting API are handled by passing the includeArchived=true query. This will allow clients from XPM with a status of ARCHIVED to be included in the response.

  13. Productivity Reports

    I am using report builder to create a productivity report for my staff. What i would like to show on the report is:

    Capcity reducing time + billable time + non-billable time = total time for week

    I would then like a productivity percentage calculated as billable time / (billable + non-billable).

    I would also like this report to have a YTD actual column and YTD budget column so that on one report I can see how productivity as been for the most recent week but also YTD on the on the report.

  14. There could be many possible things to be able to track in there, but I would like to be able to:

    Limit the 'states' shown to things I am directly involved with like 'For review' and 'For Invoicing'.

    My secretary would want to see states that apply to her like 'to sign'.

    Only show 'Priority level' High and Urgent (with the flick of a keystroke)

    Possibly allow some of the functionality in the 'jobs' tab or the report builder to be 'saved' in the dashboard screen like mini tables that update real time?

  15. When going through tax payment letters it can be useful to make a note i.e spoken with client re tax or checked IRD. However, once the tax payment is approved it cannot be edited or deleted and also will not remain in the notes box but rather provisional tax history.

  17. It would be efficient to have recurring time entries to be saved as a favorite in XPM instead of having to complete all three segments about Client, Job & Task. Especially for daily recurring Internal Time entries such as Non-Billable Time for Meetings, Personal Breaks or Filing Emails etc.

  18. We work in small teams and it would be great if we could get a "Staff" drop down added for the client set up. So we could know the partner on the account, the lead accountant/manager and the staff member that works on the file so we know who to approach for various issues :)
