  1. We are in the process of organizing our client list for Audit Shield and like many other accounting firms we need to assign our clients a Turnover category. Currently Xero informs me there is no report I can run that will list the clients and their turnover for me to easily identify which category to assign to the client for audit purposes.

    A report that shows the client, their income/turnover and the possibility to group and total buy the Client Group would be amazing and save so much unnecessary admin time.

  2. It would be incredibly useful if there was the ability to create folders in HUBDOC to file published documents. This would make it easier to find any documents for the future as at present they are just in one longs list. For someone who heavily uses HUBDOC this list is never ending and almost impossibly to find documents that were uploaded historically.

  3. Dropbox integration needs to include business Dropbox accounts. HubDoc is used by Businesses so it would make sense for the integration to be with Dropbox business. Currently only works with Personal Accounts.

  5. Currently there is no option to remove nil job totals through Xero invoice integration settings.

    You can remove nil tasks/costs if opting for the alternate invoice presentation method (tasks/costs), but not for when you opt for the job totals basis. This would solve multi job invoices and the clean-up required where writing off amounts to nil across jobs.

  8. We have clients on Annual Packages that cover a group of companies or individuals. While we are able to add tax forms for other entities within the billing group, the same option is not available for Activity Statements, meaning that we have to split the job or not attach the forms.
    It would be very helpful to open an annual job and see all tasks and forms associated with it.

  9. When viewing bills/invoices under a contact, can the 'bill created', 'bill approved' and 'bill paid' icons be different colours please? :)

  10. Does Xero have any plans to incorporate 'Xero Tax' in the trial version? I can see that there are a number of videos on Xero Tax on Xero Central. If it was incorporated in the trial version- it would provide students with hands-on experience as opposed to just watching videos or reading texts.

    As Xero is now being used by many accounting firms, Tax professionals who are currently working in other platforms such as Sage Handisoft or MYOB don't know how Xero tax works. When they are trying to change companies- it would provide them an advantage if they are…

  11. when we have a report that we would want to specify the type of return e.g. ir3, ir4 there does not seem to be the IR4J specifically for when we file a IR4J on its own for members apart of a consolidated group and only require to file their own imputation return.

    It would be great if this could be included as this helps when reporting our internal filing stats.

  14. We have a numerous comments and feedback from clients and staff, that it would be great to have an option to include a reviewer of the documents even though their signature is not required. It would be nice to be able to share this information to group entities where the information is required by other individuals/entities within the group.

  15. For large farms/orchards or multiple businesses in the group, needing a P & L each for each Farm and Orchard. Then a combined statement P & L bringing all the totals together with the group overhead expenses. Currently have to do separate custom reports in Xero then paste in, would be good to have it all formated in one spot not doing multiple reports and copying and pasting. Currently using another accounting software provider to do the financials and only using Xero to collect the date, would be good to have it all in one spot

  18. We would like to be able to do a list of Employee at the end of year with total earnings, PAYE, Employer and Employee Kiwisaver etc.

    You can list now but it lists every date and you then need to drop out to Excel and do all the additionals. Very time consuming if you have a number of employees.

    As you've found, the Annual Earnings Certificate displays the information required, but splits each employee in to a seperate page.


    I've updated your title to reflect that you'd like this report in a list format, and shifted it back to 'submitted' so we can keep collecting votes and feedback.

  20. On the XPM dashboard there are two tax returns filed graphs - Returns by month and Returns by form. (New Zealand)
    It would be great if you can have these showing by "Manager" (as per details in client set up) rather than the whole practice or "account manager" which is currently the only available selection and "account manager" is the Partner/Director as per client set up.
