  1. Please reinstate the ability to edit email addresses under the bulk email function under Tax > Payments. Depending on the type of tax notice, we have to send a tax notice to a staff member and copy in an additional person. It will not allow us to enter in a second email address under the client profile. This is very time consuming if we have to send it out twice and inefficient.

  2. Naturally, when emailing in invoices and receipts, we end up with extraneous items in the Docs Pane on the left hand side. To delete these, we currently only have a small 'delete' button in the far top right corner, followed by a confirmation message in the centre of the screen.

    It'd be great if the UI was updated to have either:
    - a delete button closer to the Docs Pane on the left hand side
    - some right click functionality, to allow us to delete documents
    - some keyboard shortcuts to allow us to process these items much quicker

  3. When each job is created, we manually have to add the contact to the job. If this is not done, the invoice that is pushed to Xero Blue doesn't have contact information and we are unable to utilise the automatic reminders etc. This requires manual monitoring and negates the efficiencies within Xero Blue.

    This manual process would be solved if we had the ability to set the Primary Contact as the default contact on jobs that are created. This could for example, be set up as a tick box in settings. This could give people the option to switch on…

  5. Would like the ability to see Write-ons / Write-offs on the Invoices dashboard for Draft invoices to allow easier review of drafts.

    Alternatively some form of reporting that takes draft invoices into account vs billable time to see 'draft write-ons/offs'.

  7. Improve multi currency capability of XPM.

    Currently, XPM only caters for invoicing out in the base currency and so invoices are done out of Xero. When it compes to KPI reports out of XPM, the info is all wrong. Invoice amounts pull through in invoice currency and not base currency, where as time is calculated in the base currency, these are incorrectly picked up as over and unders. Since there is no way to see what currency the invoice is in, reports from XPM are quite useless and differ significantly to profit reported in Xero for entities that invoice in…

  8. It would be good to be able to run a report of all Xero clients that have unfiled STP, or be able to view at a glance on XeroHQ. This would assist in making sure clients are meeting their compliance obligations quickly rather than go into every client to look at the Payroll Overview.

  9. Would it be possible to have a report that shows the bank transactions and the bill/invoices that it was reconciled with? It's time consuming to check transactions one by one just to find a transaction that was incorrectly reconciled. Please see below example for your reference.

  10. Partner Status - recently we handed over some Xero subscriptions to our clients to pay directly. Instead of gaining extra points for our Xero status, our points have gone down. I'd like to be able to see under each partner points section a dropdown menu of the client names and points per client. This will also help me keep on top of our Xero recharges in case a client moves from one tier to another.

  12. Keep the Xero Classic Look everyone preferred.

    The design of the Job Manager page is sadly reminiscent of an excel spreadsheet.

    One of the enjoyments of the Xero software compared to its competitors are the fresh, clean pages that make it inviting to use. The Job Manager board is missing the 'attractiveness' that has been part of Xero's signature branding.

    Specifically black text, flat checkboxes, grey cell borders and grey column headers makes it feel like an outdated 1990s program.

  13. It would be really helpful to receive notifications when a client pays their payrun.

    Especially for our large PAYG Withholding clients, where we send them an email of the tax withholding payable. As large PAYG Withholders only have a roughly a week to pay, an email notification would be a timer saver. As we wouldn't need to log in to check that the pay run has been paid.

  14. We would like to see more custom report options that reflect the returns so we can interrogate and pull information out of Xero tax in relation to clients

  15. Sorting Draft Invoices by Job Type

    Every quarter we invoice a large amount of standard disbursement costs these all come from a particular job type.
    It would be great if we could sort by job type so we could bulk approve these invoices. Currently it looks to sort by job number. This means when I 'select all' I have to manually go through and untick the draft invoices that have another job type. I have tried to set a filter to only show text with 'Quarterly' which shows in the job type but this produces no results.

    Hi Rhys, while not from the contact's record you can run the Receivable Invoice Summary report with a few filters to get what you need here.

    If you Group by Contact and Filter by Approved you'll be able to see the invoices and a summary per Contact. If this is a report you'd want to view often, you could save as Custom to quickly access this anytime.

  20. In the U.S. Xero is one of the top accounting software companies. Its biggest competitor Quickbooks has several Intuit tax software products that integrate with each other. I would like to Xero launch Xero Tax in the near future as Intuit products aren’t as innovative, robust and user friendly. Glad to see this is available in other markets but would love to see it roll out here in the states
