  1. Prior to the new XPM update, viewing a group provided a detailed breakdown of each client's business structure. The new layout simplifies this into broad categories (individual, company, trust, partnership, other), meaning you now have to click into each client to see the specific details. For example, 'other' represents a range of options such as departing client, on hold due to non-payment, or a non-client entity. This makes it harder to understand a client's status at a glance.   2. It would be great to bring back the collapsible custom fields in XPM when editing client details. This previously made it much easier to jump between headings. With the new tabbed layout, all custom fields now appear in one long list with no distinction between headings, which means a lot more scrolling to find the fields we need to update.

  3. Hubdoc is able to extract bank statement data and convert to csv file for supported US and Canadian banks.

    It would be incredibly useful to have this for UK banks as well.

  4. Provide a report which shows all bank accounts listed alongside the latest reconciled month for each bank account to provide a quick overview of which bank accounts have not been reconciled.

  5. Could we get a PAYG Instalment worksheet please, with an option to tick if a client is a new entrant to the PAYG instalment system and a field where we can enter the expected lodgement date of the tax return. These fields can then drive the PAYG instalment estimate for the current financial year.
    Currently Xero just estimates the instalments for the four quarters which isn't always correct. For example if we lodge a return in November and the client is entering the PAYG instalment system for the first time, there's no way to zero out the September quarter without…

  7. Have Xero collect and pay the tax directly to the IRD on clients behalf. A little bit like Hnry, but do it better. Would be great for small business/contractors etc. IRD have really struggled to collect tax/gst in specific industries like construction and hospo

  8. It would be great if there was an extra prompt to confirm when deleting attachments from purchases/sales. Currently you only have to press the 'x' and the document is removed and there is no way to undo this if it is pressed accidently. If it prompted you to accept the delete you could say no and avoid this issue.

  9. New Xero files - add option to return to the old way of viewing bills that had been uploaded?

    I often log in to 80-100 bills that have been uploaded into files for me to add to a clients xero. Until the recent changes you could click on the oldest one and then scroll through each one viewing them full screen whilst working on another screen to add the information to a bill in xero. Now when you click on the file it opens in a much smaller box on the far side of the screen and you can't scroll…

  10. Clients need the ability to preview quotes and invoices on the mobile application before they send the document to their customer. I have a brand new client that took me several months to get him to move from QBO to Xero, and he is ready to pull the plug on Xero because this feature is missing. He performs 90% of his work on his mobile.

  11. Add the ability to sort by Account. This is helpful when reviewing transactions in bulk to double check that rules have been applied correctly.

    Also improve the logic currently used to sort. It should sort A-Z followed by blanks OR start with blanks and then follow Z-A. In the screenshot you'll see I'm sorting on Description but it has sorted the transactions by Date first and THEN Description, leading to a sort view that isn't helpful.

  12. Improve the sorting functionality within the Cash Coding screen to sort by Account. When I review the transactions (esp ones that have rules) it's difficult to assess if they've been categorized correctly and might need changes.

    Additional ask would be to improve the sort logic that already exists. When you sort by Description it should show A-Z and then blanks at the bottom, or Z-A with blanks at the start. But you can see in the screenshot it's sorted by Description but one transaction is floating in the middle of blanks...why?

  13. It would be good to customise the new JAX auto bank reconcile feature. Eg reconcile bank rules only.
    The clients that would benefit most from this new feature are the ones that have large volumes of unpaid items on the purchase or sales ledger so whilst it would be great to auto reconcile the rules I wouldn't want the AI "having a go" at matching bank transactions to open bills or invoices.

  14. Every time I process a payroll (hundreds every year), I produce the Payroll reports to send to the client.

    The Payroll Activity Details Report AND THE Payroll Employee Summary shows the INCORRECT details in the heading. For example The report reads: "For the period 17 November 2025 to 17 November 2025". THIS IS NOT CORRECT, and it wastes HOURS having to change it every single time.

    The Report is for the Processed Pay Period just completed!!!
    Can we have this corrected to the pay period when this report is directly created from a payroll run??? the date for Example SHOULD…

  15. There should be an arrow on the Date Selection box to load next equal period. If the original period was one month, there should be an arrow to load next month in just one click - and a back arrow. Same for a year selected, or a quarter.

    Hi Christine, just making sure I understand what you'd like to see here. Would this be to sort all organisations you have access to from your My Xero page ordered by the # of unreconciled items ?

  17. Allow for credit card credits to be posted as negative expenses. This will permit matching in QBO bank section. Currently credit card credits are not matchable and cause confusion with client staff unaware of what to do with these orphan transactions in QBO.

  18. Would it be possible to have a report that shows the bank transactions and the bill/invoices that it was reconciled with? It's time consuming to check transactions one by one just to find a transaction that was incorrectly reconciled. Please see below example for your reference.

  20. We need the ability to issue a cheque and track cheque numbers in currency that is not the home currency. Example CAD is home currency. We have a USD bank account and issue cheques on that USD account but we are unable to confirm the cheques have been issued in sequence as there is no log. We are also unable to issue a cheque from that account.
