Currently the Aged Receivables Summary dose not include Contacts with Zero balances. this causes a completness risk when reporting or trying to reconcile customers. it is strongly requested that the report has an option to include contacts with zero balances. this can be applied to suppliers as well.

  2. Development of new functionality to meet the new FRS 102/105 requirements following from the FRC Periodic Review. Key changes are around income recognition to be based on delivery (known as the 5-step model), and an on-balance sheet treatment for operating leases.

  3. Currently Quotes are not able to be sent directly for e-sign acceptance (i.e. clients will need to print physical copy of quote, sign and email back unless they have access to adobe sign). It would be an improvement if quote can be sent to Xero Sign for signing and audit trail. Alternatively, it would also be great if clients can accept/decline from the quote email.

  4. In Xero HQ, it would be helpful if the "Manage Users" permission were optional for Admin staff—or if there were an additional permission level between "Admin" and "Standard," similar to QBO's "Standard - All Access" role where you can toggle on and off several higher permissions.

  6. Whilst there are some templates in Email settings that we can Edit, it would be great if those that have the CIS add-on can also have the option to personalise the messages sent with the month end statements

  7. It would be useful to be able to download all PDF documents from Xero at the point you stop using Xero for any reason. Especially at the point a company is in liquidation so you maintain the records.

  8. I log in and out of Xero dozens of times daily. the little square "Trust this device ticked" never works. Every time I need to log in, I need to go through the process again and again, email, password, authentication.
    What I found really annoying and impractical is after keying in the password, the next screen is the authenticator code, if I do not take the mouse and point out into the authentication box, the numbers keyed in goes anywhere. This should be automated as MYOB and QuickBooks, BGL360, CAS360 have and many other accounting softwares. This will save me…

  9. I faced a very time-consuming task after migrating the data from MYOB to Xero through JetConvert. Although the bank transactions were properly processed in MYOB and reconciled in the bank before conversion. The same transactions converted into Xero had an unreconciled status. The bank balances were not matching at all. I couldn't find a solution than going one by one, clicking the column "unreconciled", go to Options, click reconciled and go back to the same screen. The number of transactions were about 400 and 2000 transactions per client. I migrated 10 clients in one shot. I did not expect this…

  10. Advisors report for queried transactions:
    Accountants/bookkeepers should be able to mark reconciled transactions (with a flag or star) and have a space to leave a comment/question. A report should then be able to be run listing all queried/flagged transactions (similar to the uncoded statement lines report). This report can then be sent to the client to answer / clients can access the report in Xero to answer.

  12. Being able to link several jobs with the one invoice raised in Xero blue. When issuing through Practice Ignition, it only allows you to allocate to one invoice in XPM. Moving the timesheets is clunky and inaccurate

  13. When you go into a client and enter the jobs tab, there is no job for that client even though they are part of the group that there is a job for and that client is included within that job. The job only shows for the single client where the job is created.

    The jobs tab already includes sections for active jobs and archived jobs. It should also show a section for jobs assigned to other clients within its group.

  14. Would like to see the ability to turn on mandatory notes for billable jobs rather than optional. Happy for this to be turned on/off at a practice level.

    This will ensure that time is being recorded correctly against client jobs and making the team member accountable for time allocated.

    This means no missing information and clients can be billed correctly.

  15. Client Merge popup box needs to be expandable. It wants me to select which client that will merge into from the other (which is irreversible) but I can't expand the popup screen or hover over the fields to see what is written in full to know which one to select.

    Hi Ami, would this be for a repeat invoice template? Or could you provide a bit more detail about your how your business would use this, or a typical scenario you need this feature for?

  17. Currently hubdoc suggests that a document is a Credit Note and to check before proceeding. Can this be the same when a document has Statement written on it. I find that statements are often processed as invoices causing duplicate payments within Xero

  20. Extend the information in Xero HQ to include full client data.
    Information that would be good to see on each client information schedule would be;

    a. VAT registration date, this is required for security with HRMC so needs to be in one place when contacting them.
    b. VAT quarters (We do have clients that don’t use xero and this information is important)
    c. PAYE registration details (Not all clients use Xero payroll and equally flicking between various clients bookkeeping systems when on the phone to HMRC is a bit irritating!)
    d. UTR details for companies
    e. Tax district for Both…
