Xero HQ | Document portal (without e-sign)

Ability to send a document to a client through Xero portal, without requiring a signature. I use the Document Packs to send tax returns and financials to clients. It would be good to be able to use this function to send packs to clients that don't need a signature.

For example: securely sending a notice of assessment to a client through xero, or sending copies of tax returns to clients that have already signed them in person.

    Why oh Why cant we jus t email the client the document pack. It doesnt require a signature, it just needs to be emailed to the client for reference or to support other information provided at the end of a quarter

    Please can you let me know when draft documents can be sent securely prior to making changes & uploading final documents for approval?

    Would be great to have this functionality. More and more clients are wanting documents only sent via a secure portal. We previously used MYOB Portal and it was fantastic for sending & receiving documents even if they did not require signature. Clients expect this level of security & flexibility. Feel this is a critical service that leading software should provide.

    MYOB Portal was fantastic for sending & receiving documents even if they did not require signature. Clients expect this level of security & flexibility. Xero definitely needs to catch up.

    Document Pack - Ability to add a person to Read Only (not Sign) in Document Pack - and the ability to select which ones they can see

    Would also be great to have a client portal where clients can send you documents securely. Handisoft, MYOB & CCH all have client portals where they can upload documents.

    More and more clients are wanting documents only sent via a secure portal rather than redacted documents via email. I used the MYOB portal for years and it was an excellent feature. Clients can also upload documents from their end too. Gives them peace of mind about the transmission of their sensitive information. Fingers crossed XERO can add these features or at least the document upload from our side for NOA's etc.

    It would be great to also be able to include people in a document pack that don't need to actually sign anything, but do need to see reports e.g. management reports that are sent with the BAS which gets signed by a different person.

    We have a numerous comments and feedback from clients and staff, that it would be great to have an option to include a reviewer of the documents even though their signature is not required. It would be nice to be able to share this information to group entities where the information is required by other individuals/entities within the group.

    Please can we send Documents without anyone having to sign anything.
