It would be really beneficial for this feature to be available as it is for Xero Tax. Multiple templates with the hyperlinks is what's really needed.

With digital signing the way of the now, it is paramount that Xero put this forward as a more urgent product enhancement/fix. We need a seamless digital signing platform. Being able to add financials and tax return from XPM and Xero is great. Being able to edit the HQ email template default needs to be an option. To potentially include an up-loadable practice logo.

When sending document packs to customers, I'd like to be able to customise the emails that are sent, rather than using the somewhat clunky and not very professional looking default templates, in order to make the communication less bland and more focused and relevant.

This is critical - all other software providers have this as a standard option to modify the templates. I am new to Xero, but my experience so far is frustration and disappointment - especially with the inadequate and many time plainly wrong responses by the specialists to cases raised. Why Xero is asking us to place a request for a standard option to be developed - this should be in the role description of the specialist who identified another deficiency in the system while responding to a case.

I totally agree with this and I think it is needed as soon as possible.
And also to have the ability to add our business logo as is seen by the client when tax returns/BAS's are sent directly for e-signing from Xero green. We have had the problem where some clients have thought that it is a junk email when being sent from Document packs.
And to allow formatting in the covering email would also be handy.

It would make it so much less time consuming and would keep everything to the same standard across the practice. It should have been released with templates to begin with!

Can we please have this, it is critical.
We have great processes for our GST reporting & esigning & unfortunately this new system as stepped us back years.

This is so important. I feel like document packs have taken us a few step back from where we were with just filing through Practice Manager.
AND we get charged for it.
We have no option but to use this and have to pay.
