AU Payroll - Customise Payslip templates
it would be great if you could customise Payslips template or have different formats of payslips for clients i.e remove the hour

Agree also with this and is something we would like to be able to do. We would like to be able to modify and control the order the different pay lines are shown to avoid confusion.

Absolutely agree with this, it would resolve a lot of issues for our business.

I would like to see monthly pay represented as a lump sum rather than an hourly rate, as mentioned by other Xero users.
I would like to see any information about "pay to date" consolidated, as by December 2022 the payslips were two A4 sheets long showing all the bank holidays, and other pay items throughout the year.
The rounding to 6 decimal places means that employees' gross pay is off by a penny each month, which looks messy (i.e. if the employee has been allocated some holiday, some bank holidays, and regular hours).
Is there a planned date to allow customisation of pay slips? -

Our company needs also to have the hours and rate taken from the payslip. Once an employee has an increase annually we need the rate within Xero to work out the fortnightly salary without the employee querying why the hourly rate has changed.

I would like the pay categories and awards to be set as template without having to add them all each time a new employee starts

I absolutely would love this function! We pay our employees monthly, 1/12th of their annual salary. Xero manages to calculate our pay correctly using an hours times rate, but the rate fluctuates every month and employees are always wondering why their hourly rate has changed. If we fix the rate, then the hours don't match what they actually worked, and they query the hours worked. We would love to stop the hourly rate from printing on the payslip.

I also agree with having this functionality. We have a need to order pay items specifically within the pay template to allow software partners such as Deputy to correctly integrate timesheets with Xero.
Currently there is a misconception that Xero will order pay items within a template in numerical or alphabetic order, but this is only true if all pay items rate types are set to the same option eg, all rate per unit. As soon as pay item rate types are mixed, the pay items have their own hierarchy that overrides the alphanumeric order.

I agree, the rigid format does not work for us. We would prefer to have all the year to date information in one block and the current month in another.
Removing the irritating hour part would be useful.
