  1. We would like to suggest an enhancement to the Xero payroll software that could significantly improve its functionality for our company.

    Currently, Xero offers download options for various pension providers, but we've noticed that True Potential is not among them.

    We propose the addition of a CSV download option specifically for the True Potential pension provider.

    Given that Xero already possesses the necessary data, incorporating this feature would eliminate the need for manual data entry and formatting, reducing the risk of errors and saving valuable time.

  2. It would be useful to have the ability to mark a document pack as complete even if some of the signatures are missing.

    We have had occasions where trustees refuse to sign via document packs after the clients have already signed. We then have to print the partially signed documents and send hard copies for trustees to sign.

    This leaves the document pack incomplete. The only option available is to cancel the pack, not ideal The ability to mark the pack as complete would be a great addition.

  3. HQ Client Groups - Default group to display on login rather than having to select each time. My groups include simple things like Every Day clients, and Annual clients. I want my everyday clients to be all I see when I login and I can go searching for the others if needs be. Without this default group function I've got a list twice as long as needs be for 95% of the year.

    The old client list allowed for a default group, why can't the new one? These improvements are supposed to be about reducing the number of clicks required…

  4. Set the demo company as the first company seen on log-in, or be able to set which one you want to see.

    I often use my laptop when speaking with clients and for a split second after logging-in I am on another clients business dashboard until I can grab the mouse and change it to their business. I don't think this is good business practice.

  5. It would be great if there was an option to change staff permissions in bulk. So if there was a practice employee for example who now needed Payroll Admin access for 20 clients, it could be done in a few clicks as opposed to changing it for each of those 20 clients.

  7. Export/Import Xero Network Keys for clients (from Xero HQ) in order to be able to import into company Xero.

    So that our invoices can also be sent directly to the clients Xero, so saves time on bookkeeping.

  8. Has anyone else noticed since they made the dreaded and catastrophic changes in the contact view screen that you can't easily drag and drop attachments anymore?
    Now you have to go to the files tab first and drop it in the predefined window. You used to be able to just drag and drop anywhere in the window and it would attach.

    You also used to be able to add documents from the files section like you still can with the bills and invoices, this feature no longer exists in contacts so now you have to download the document from files…

    We appreciate hearing your feedback on the changes we're making, Fiona. We made an update to the files upload on a contacts record not long ago so you can now attach files that have been uploaded to your files library, like you could before. 


    There is a slight change as you mention where when you'd like to drag & drop a file you'll need to drag it to the box on the screen. It's not something we have plans for changing in the short term but we'll begin to get a sense of the interest in this here and let you know if there are any updates. 

  9. With Xero Ask queries you specify a due date but if the query is not replied to there is no reminder sent to the client once the date has passed.

    Can we please have reminders automatically sent, much in the same way invoice reminders are sent.

  11. Improve the look of the client signatures on document packs. Particularly with the financial statements, it includes a date and a name but this already is present on the document.

    If we could have different elements for name, signature and date that would make it look clearer.

  13. Please add in the fixed asset numbers in the new depreciation schedule. The old report had this and it made it very easy to review and reconcile. This feature is very much needed. Thanks

  15. It would be nice to have a report where you show the Transaction Date, Account, Check Number, Description, Coding.

    Currently the Check Number is not a data field that you can put into a report.

  16. It would be great if you could add the standard compare tracking caterogies P&L to the management reports pack. At present, the only way to get it into the pack is to create a custom report, but this locks in the tracking categories selected and any future categories added are omitted.

  17. Recommendation is to add graphs as a report on Xero. Clients can see their turnover an example over a few months which can be sent to them direct from Xero !

    Is there a specific report or reports you'd like to do this with, Suveera. 

    Xero analytics is one way of getting more of a visual view of an organisations performance, or alternatively you'll find there are a couple of reports like the Income and Expense by Contact reports that enable you to show a chart of your top 10 customers or suppliers. 

  18. At the moment Xero doesn't have a list of clients in alphabetical order when I go into Staff to amend access. With over 200 clients, it is taking a long time to sort it all out, even if I use the search box.
    Please include functionality so that the client list in Staff is in alphabetical order by default, the same as it was in My Xero staff.
    I would also like to see a number value next to the staff member's name showing how many clients they have access to. Again, similar to the set up in My Xero…
