Xero HQ - View connected apps by client

Xero apps - In Xero HQ we use to have the apps under the explorer tab, to see the most popular apps and what clients are using them. It was highly useful to advise clients when an app was to cease or we were introducing an alternative to see who was using it.

Appreciate the interest and hearing the use you have in seeing integrated apps your clients have connected.

As some will have received communication of some time back - we made the hard decision to retire Explorer in Xero HQ from 12 April, 2023.

Right now, if you'd like to see the apps a client has connected you can open the Xero organisation, go to settings and select Connected apps.

While this is something we may consider developing elsewhere in Xero HQ down the road, it isn't in the teams plans right now. We'll continue to track interest here, and let you know if there is any change surrounding this to share. Thanks

    This would also benefit when a client is looking at an add-on, to know which clients are also using it and discuss benefits etc.

    This would allow us to get a list to advise clients on software that may be redundant and we could have zero replace ex. third party invoicing

    Another example where you have removed something that was really useful which makes the product worse not better. Please add it back in to HQ

    It would be very helpful to have something in Xero HQ that identified the most popular apps clients are using from a staff training perspective. It would also help us have an idea of what apps work well.

    Have just found that this has gone. It was so useful to see what apps our clients are using. Please reinstate.

    There was a report in HQ that provides us with all our clients connected apps, this is not a new feature we are requesting this is just an old feature taken away from us. (There was even a nice graph).

    There are no way we can log into 900 Xero on a regular basis to check this.

    Can you please bring this back?

    We would like to see this tool return. We looked at it when looking for ways to help our clients. We looked at what apps were most used/popular. It helped us to decide where to concentrate our staff training as well.
