Hi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate your engagement and sharing how custom fields would be advantageous to you here.
With lots of work for 'building on beautiful' underway atm, we want to be honest that custom fields is not planned in the near term.
Some in the idea here, may find the recent addition of Notes that can be added within the Contact Details section of a contacts record useful in being able to record and view specific detail relative to a contact at present - More on this shared here
We'll continue to evaluate the viability of largely voted ideas such as this when there is resource, however this unlikely in the next 12 months.

Appreciate the interest and hearing the use you have in seeing integrated apps your clients have connected.
As some will have received communication of some time back - we made the hard decision to retire Explorer in Xero HQ from 12 April, 2023.
Right now, if you'd like to see the apps a client has connected you can open the Xero organisation, go to settings and select Connected apps.
While this is something we may consider developing elsewhere in Xero HQ down the road, it isn't in the teams plans right now. We'll continue to track interest here, and let you know if there is any change surrounding this to share. Thanks
An error occurred while saving the comment Alize Hough commentedThere was a report in HQ that provides us with all our clients connected apps, this is not a new feature we are requesting this is just an old feature taken away from us. (There was even a nice graph).
There are no way we can log into 900 Xero on a regular basis to check this.
Can you please bring this back?

An error occurred while saving the comment Alize Hough commentedDo not post as a bill, recon the bank straight to the chart of account, and attached the document on the bank recon. Only times needed to load the bill, if there are payment terms, and bill is only paid at a later stage

An error occurred while saving the comment Alize Hough commentedOur clients are already paying (overpaying) so much to have expense claims available, I feel this is a non-negotiable function that needs to be added, asap.
(How I see this work: it is like setting up a product/Service, with an amount popping up, but one you can still edit if need be?)

Thanks for all your input and sharing how we can improve Xero's user roles to cater for the needs of your business and staff you'd like to provide this access for.
As you may have seen in other ideas we've been conducting some research into user roles across all of Xero. As a step on from this, one of our teams are beginning a deeper dive into solving this idea here and enabling more roles access to Products & services (Inventory) in Xero.
While this may take sometime to accomplish we wanted to provide an update to you all interested in this, and we'll keep you informed of further progress as the team begin looking into it.
